Ive eaten here ever since this store openened and there was an anime chef on the menu. The waitresses treat you like family and will get to know you by the third or fourh time you stop in. Its almost like eating at home away from home to me. The chefs can ensure your food will not only look good, but taste twice as good, keeping you coming back for more. Of the four years I have eaten here I can proudly say I have never had a bad experience, only positive ones either with a group of family and friends, or in solotiude. A great place to eat of you are new to the town or just looking for a great hibachi steakhouse.

The sushi was ok. If youre used to ordering sushi à la carte, you might find their menu limited and in English. But my biggest complaint is that I told my waitress up-front that I have Celiac disease and therefore needed to avoid gluten. I asked her if they had tamari sauce (gluten-free soy sauce), and she said yes. She returned with a small dish of it. However, I think she gave me regular soy sauce, because I got very sick that night. Its three days later now, and Im still not feeling well. If I ever go there again, Ill bring my own tamari.

Ive never had a bad experience here, but Id say overall its rather uninspiring. While one cant exactly expect a small-town, midwestern hibachi joint to be the pinnacle of Japanese culinary excellence, the fact that they claim to offer "authentic" cuisine and do anything but is a bit disappointing... Thats not to say their food is bad, though. Im quite partial to their fried rice myself. Its just that you get far more bang for your buck at other places.

We went to eat...the food is amazing. The miso soup omg! I always love that :> The people are really nice .. and what most of all I respect them now more. This old couple (80s years old) were leaving and suddenly the wife came in and ask for help. His husband felt down to the floor and she needed help. The manager and another young man helped them get into the car and made sure they were ok. You guys are awesome!!!

We have visited Tokyo Grill on a frequent basis over the years and have fallen in love with not just the food but Joyce as well. The dishes are always great with awesome flavor, the staff puts forth service that is beyond reproach and the owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Wish I could rate them higher than 5!

I was not expecting the sushi to be that good here but its both less expensive than where I live and yet very very fresh tasting, flavorful, and comes in generous thick slices (the sashimi in particular). The service isnt always great, and the miso soup is often not served very hot, but I really like the food after going twice.

What can I say, this place always sends us on our way very satisfied! The food is always delicious and the staff are smiling and enjoyable. Fun place to do a small birthday party. Take-out has always been just as good as of we were just served at the table. Plenty of parking and kid-friendly. Highly recommended!

This is definitely one of my favorite places to go in Northfield. Da bomb rolls absolutely live up to their name, and I also recommend any of the bento boxes. Spider rolls and shrimp and avocado rolls are also great choices. The staff is extremely nice, and Ive never had bad service.

Great deal! Lunch is a steal. Not the best sushi but its really good and super cheap. Joyce rocks. Most (not all) of the other servers seem to struggle and makes the experience a little less enjoyable. But Kat and Joyce are great. I suggest making the stop :)

If you want sushi in Northfield, this is the place to go. It can be busy when one of the local colleges is having an event. It is a great repurposing of a fast food building. But dont be deceived, they serve good food.
