I usually try to give this place a chance every year hoping my experience gets better. Unfortunately it only gets worse. Its really too bad because the food is rather good. However, good food will does not make up for the absolutely terrible service this establishment has. My last experience here was for breakfast on a Saturday. Walked in about noon, (they are only open until 2pm most days), and there were about 15 other customers in the whole restaurant. I noticed that many people did not have food when we walked in, which was not a good sign. After being seated promptly, it took about 15 minutes to get coffee and water out. Typically those things are immediate upon being seated. While there were two waitresses on staff, they were rarely in the dining area. We placed our order (Eggs benedict for her, and scotch eggs for me) and then we waited. And waited. AND WAITED. About 40 minutes after we placed our order, she recieved her plate, and I was told mine would be right out. So I waited, and waited. My plate took another 10 minutes to arrive, and hers was cold by that time, so I asked if they would warm it up. Without telling us, they decided to re-make her whole plate, so now my food is sitting there getting cold while she is waiting on hers. Absolutely terrible. Roughly an hour and ten minutes later we both had our food. I asked for a refill of our water, the waitress took our glasses and never came back. I had to find a dishwasher to ask for another glass of water. Bringing water pitchers to the table would be helpful. The food was excellent, very top-notch. However the service is so bad it pains me to come here. We werent in a hurry, but keep in mind that it took over an hour to get out two breakfast plates and it was not a busy time of day. Very disappointing and we will not be returning for some time. Ive had similar experience with poor service on my past visits.

Horrible service! We usually like to try a place more than once, just in case we went on a bad night! We have been there 3 times now since moving to New Prague in June 2016. It never got better! The food was great, once we got it.. problem was, an hour just to get drinks and 2 hours until our food!! No discount on bill, no apologies, nothing!! We wld rather drive further than have this kind of service!! Just terrible!!!

We learned about this restaurant from people we know that drive from Watertown (not Waterville,but the town thats over an hour north) who love it here. On our 4 visits weve come to love it too. The Czech/Swiss entrees are also an interesting option. Its not fast food folks,so if you dont have the time for freshly prepared house- made food done to your order,try back another time when you do.

I am from out of town. Accidently discovered this resturant 3 years ago. Now every time we come down we make it a point to stop. Its clean, happy, and busy. Wait staff always pleasant and kind. Been all over US and this place is worth the stop. I know resturants because Ive worked in them for over 40 years.

Still had the fish fry sign out, asked the waiter about it and she said it was for lent. Its june 13th now... besides that I grew up in new Prague cause my grandparents. I love anything Czech food. Wish I could get a copy of the vomacka soup.

Best service, we had breakfast and it was great food. Hard to find a place where they actually get more then couple sprinkles of cheese in your omlet. My omlet had lots of cheese and it was yummy. Going back there today for breakfast again.

Always good food. Their breakfast options are fantastic, especially the Angry Rooster. Service can be a bit slow, especially weekend mornings, but its worth the wait. Just dont show up expecting to be out the door in 30 minutes.

Can get super busy but the breakfast is worth the wait. The ham steak is awesome, but beware it is huuuge. The Monte Cristo is also probably one of the best I have ever had.
