I dont live in Minneapolis, but this is my brothers go to spot. We went in one morning and I wasnt quite sure what I wanted. The girl behind the counter offered to make me a surprise latte since I was indecisive. I let her go with it and it was super delicious. I also grabbed what I think was a spiced cranberry cake which was really tasty, like homemade. The spot is quiet and pretty big so it seems like a good place to read or get some work done. I would definitely visit again next time Im in MN. P.s. to the girl behind the counter, dont forget to check out Bloodmilk and Free Peoples jewelry online

After finding the wait at Hazels too long, went across the street to this place to grab some quick coffee and food. No regrets. Lots of coffee choices, and non-coffee. The maple soy coldpress was very sweet, but the coffee flavor was excellent. Theres plenty of street parking around. They had decent selection of breakfast and lunch stuff in the case. Friendly staff. Its surprisingly spacious inside, with lots of seating. The back room is really cute, and perfect except for the lack of windows. A sign by the register said they have a live music series, which is cool for a little coffee place.

Ive traveled all over the country, as well as abroad in Europe and Isreal frequenting some of the best rated coffee shops in the world and have not liked any as much as this one. Seriously good drinks, awesome wholesome foods, and pastries that are at least as good as Grams used to make when I was little. I received good service and the atmosphere rocked! Also I have never seen such a real sense of community in a coffee shop before. This is certainly a place to check out when you are in Minneapoliss North East!

One of MNs charms. I have never had a bad experience at this coffee shop and have been there numerous times. This is a very chill place where you can get a lot of reading done, listen to a concert, or goof off in a pair in the back room for awhile without anyone really noticing. The baristas are friendly and have excellent music taste. The super vegan/GF bars are fantastic and their flavored coffee is so good youll want to drink it at all hours of the day.

Good coffee and beverages, decent food. The environment is reasonably welcome and has that classic indie coffee shop / cafe vibe — tables and chairs are a mixed bag. In all its a good place to hang out or work for a little bit, but I cant say that I personally feel that its conducive for working there much more than an hour or so. Outlets werent that plentiful and lighting was super bright (for my taste). Still a good place though.

The Coffeeshop NE offers ample seating, friendly service, delicious breakfast sandwiches, and most importantly, excellent coffee and espresso drinks. The Eggel sandwich is a favorite in the morning. It takes a few minutes for them to make it, but its worth the wait for fresh, fluffy eggs and melted cheese. If you are a fan of espresso drinks, they make a great Cubano which you cant find everywhere.

The Coffeeshop NE is a friendly, comfy neighborhood meeting place with accommodating staff, a creative food selection, and well-crafted espresso drinks. Im a fan of the curried chicken salad on greens; its sweet, fresh, and filling, yet still filling. It is a local business I feel good supporting with my patronage and recommendations to friends.

Stephanie was the best with bright lips and brighter personality!! What a place! Great coffee. They have Italian roast which is my favorite! The decor was fun and the music they played kept my toes a tapping! My Gf and I had time to kill, googled and so happy we found it. We played cards. Drank coffee and left in great moods! Go. NOW!!

I love you, Coffee Shop Northeast. I love you. Your almond croissants make me feel like a whole person. Your coffee... holy gods of life, SO GOOD! I have made it my Sunday morning tradition to stop by and pick up some tasty treats before hitting up the dog park. Thank you for opening my eyes and introducing me to reality.

This place is a favorite. Good coffee drinks, friendly staff, great location with ample free parking, good food for a coffee shop (esp the quiche). Only downside is the temp between the front and back is about 10 degrees different so bring a sweater. Also my wife spends way too much money here :)

Ive been here 3 or 4 times and Ive never had coffee that wasnt burnt. I normally drink black, but Ive also tried a latte and a mocha to see if it was any better. It was not. At least the barista was nice this time. That was unusual. Will not return or recommend to friends.

Coffee is great, owners are better! Great place to meet a Tinder guy/gal or crack down and study. Recommend to all my out of town friends. One reason why I love the Coffeeshop is because they actually make a soy cappuccino unlike many other pretentious douchebag baristas.

Booths off to side have power outlets! :) Awesome coffee and good seven layer bar. Really nice designs and set up, staff was super friendly and nice and laid back. Seems like a down to earth place. It got really busy by 10, but theres a lot of space and chairs.

The food was really good but the chairs and benches were quite uncomfortable. I could feel the springs of the seat the entire time. Service was great and coffee was decent. Nice place to walk to and I would go again but maybe would sit in a chair not a booth. :)

Good coffee and good food at a good price. Study environment is pretty decent, albeit a bit quieter in the back. Staff is friendly, but be sure to wait for your drink. Ive had mine swiped by someone not paying attention and then they had to remake it.

A bit pricey. The folks I was with ordered eggs, and I am pretty sure they were just microwaved.. they came unceremoniously served in a plastic bowl with a bit of cheese interlaced. Coffee/chai was okay. Staff were very friendly.

Because of the wonderful food...and phenomenal coffee, this is always my favorite local place to visit. The new expansion is wonderful! My only complaint is that its not near my work....Id be there every single day for lunch.

A regular hangout for me, especially the open mic nights. Really enjoyable. Fortunate for the rest of you, I am no musician and do not perform. That said, the crowd is totally supportive and the whole ordeal is free.

I love the quiet, contemporary atmosphere and friendly baristas. I adore that they have local artists on the walls selling their work, and that I can camp out and work for hours. Also... The Killer Chai is the best!

Always enjoy the caffinated concoctions here. Honest folks working hard to deliver a consistently good product in a nice neighborhood locale. Try it out for yourself and taste what "Made with love" is all about.

A bit loud but very trendy space. The coffee is excellent and the workers all seem approachable and were very friendly. Ive been multiple times and it is one of my favorite coffee shops in Minneapolis.

Dirty chai! Gluten free options. Best chocolate covered peanut butter crispy bars. Try the curried tuna on greens > health + taste. Local art on the walls and featured in regular open mic nights.
