Dogwood Coffee Bar provided good coffee in a fun open setting! If you are looking for a quiet place to study or sip coffee while reading, I would not recommend this place (too noisy and open). If you are looking for a place for socializing with friends or you just want the buzz of people around, this is your joint! The coffee was good; some unique seasonal options that I enjoyed (I recommend the Maple Bourbon Latte). The prices are on the high side but I knew that going in so cant complain. Staff is very friendly and helpful; they add to the fun of the place. Overall, if you dont mind ponying up a few more cents for a good cup of coffee and a buzzing atmosphere, this is the place for you!

By far the best craft brewed coffee Ive ever had. Any drink will please you. This roastery taught me how to taste and appreciate coffee- and there isnt a single person Ive taken here who hasnt been blown away, and had their taste in coffee transformed. Great, pleasant staff, wonderful Rustica pastries. I cant say enough good things about this place.

Hey I got an idea lets make a coffee shop right next to a large university and then charge a $1 for a refill on coffee....right because after paying tuition I have bundles of cash to pay for coffee no better then what I brew at home not coming back not even enough lighting to study. Plus this fly flying around me is damn annoying.

These guys are sourcing/roasting geniuses. Best coffee I have had yet, Twin Cities or anywhere else. Seriously, they are so far ahead of any other operation it makes me wonder what will happen to the business in the future. My advice - join their monthly coffee subscription and ride the train for as long as it lasts.

Worst coffee ever - super bitter, like they dont clean their filters. Their pastries always look a bit dried up and old, and with Lucias down the corner, I wouldnt pick Dogwood. Ambiance is great for meetings and cozy productive hangouts. Staff is also super friendly and is always smiling and jamming to cool tunes.

Eh Ive had better coffee for cheaper. Im sorry almost $5 for a regular cup of coffee in my Togo mug is insane. At that price I could have had an espresso fancy drink. The one girl who was working was a total B@$ch and I walked out without any purchase. I will never go back to this place again!

Best coffee, lattes, and drinks you will ever have. I have introduced Dogwood to many people, and they have all been surprised at what great craftsmanship can taste like. The baristas are amazing at what they do, always friendly, and are chalk full of knowledge of everything that is coffee!

Very good coffee. Coming from Milwaukee Ive been spoiled by Alterra (now Colectivo..but always Alterra to me). They sell one pound bags of coffee for the price Dogwood sells 12oz of beans. I wish Dogwood sold one pound bags. And then they would be perfect!

Ahhhh a perfectly beautiful latte. Their coffee of the day is usually excellent too. Sometimes I just want a lovely latte. There is plenty of seating here and I like the little booths when I am working on my laptop. Open early too.

They have slow drip coffee which a lot of people like. The staff is friendly, and theres a comfortable chair in the back. In can get a little cold in the winter, and noisy with the foot traffic walking by.

Some of the best lattes Ive had have been from Dogwood. The space is really open and kinda in the Square which is nice unless you want to hang. Theres a little corner, but its not as cozy as other places.
