I normally dont do reviews on here, BUT, only reason this place is getting one star is because I cant give it a lower rating. My girlfriend, myself, and a close friend of mine, along with his girlfriend, went tubing down the Ottertail river to celebrate his anniversary of his deployment. At the end, we were pretty hungry, and were up for some Zorbaz. Upon arriving, we gave the door guys our IDs, explaining the celebration. After they wristbanded 3 of us, they didnt check my friends ID, and said that he "is too intoxicated, and its family time. You cant go in. Well you three can, but he cant." Now my friend was less intoxicated as I was, and while he was explaining this to us, he let in 2 females and a male that were attempting to hold eachother up because they were so intoxicated. After asking for an explination, the doorman said we could leave, or hed call the cops. I will not be giving my business to them anymore! Visit was evening of 08/15/2015, and my last visit at that.

Just returned home from eating at Zorbaz. I would rate a 2 1/2 stars. Pizza had nothing special (crust was ok but not great),on it. We noticed fruit flies in the dinning bar area. There are a lot of TVs located through out the bar but some were in need of replacing (screens had either stripes, were dim or were somewhat warped). Bar stools throughout needed recovering as many were torn and in disrepair. Zorbaz has been a staple bar of Detroit Lakes for many years, with that in mind youd think they would invest in its upkeep. Right now Zorbaz is just another dump/dive. Shame on you Zorbaz clean up your place.

Ibwas just their last night and i asked for a double shot in my mixed drink or get a lilltle in my next drink on my first drink and tey through me out and would not tell me why or wouldnt let me finish my drink, i dont understand i was not drunk by any means or disurbing peopele or causeing confertashions, hope i get a free drink after this cause i paid 5.50 for that drink and i only got like 2 sips from it. I called the manager and he said he was gunnna call me back but never did very disappointing considering i go their regularly on friday nights

Its a local legend! While they have 5 or 6 locationz in the region... The DL location is THE anchor store. Best pizza in town PERIOD. The NACHOZ are legendary. Zorbaz patio is THE SPOT in the summer in DL. right across the street from the beach! Huge beer selection. Full bar zervice from 3 barz. Massive outdoor patio... Replete withTiki torchez & a tropical resort feel... Live music on the cabana stage. If you come to DL in Zummer (or anytime really) its a must stop!

Went here to enjoy my friends 21st birthday. Their security was incredibly rude. I showed them my ID at the door. They stole it and claimed it was a fake ID. I asked for it back and they replied that I needed to leave. I told them I could bring other forms of ID and they just ignored me. I had to call the police to get it returned. I have been in before with same ID and the experiance was meh. I will find a better place to eat out which shouldnt be hard...

Poor food quality, terrible Zervice and very unfriendly Zecurity Ztaff. Every time I have visited Zorbaz in Detroit lakeZ and Perham, I have left with a bad taZte in my mouth. The Zervice is Zlow, the Ztaff doeZnt Zeem to care about the cuZtomerZ, the food is queZtionable at beZt. The Zecurity Ztaff iZ rude. And Whatz up with all the Zs? Itz really Ztupid, ZerioulZly! WORZT REZTAURANT IN TOWN.... I have had better Zervice at McDonalds...

I love Sorbas (the Zs are Ss, so clever). I cant get enough of their cilantro dishes, which is awesome because EVERYTHING has cilantro! Nachos, salsa, burritos, pizza, all of it! I also suffer from TMMS (Too Much Money Syndrome) so it helps me to pay 10 times what a normal pizza costs. Real Mexican food isnt seasoned, and neither is theirs! My only suggestion is to add cilantro to their sodas and beers, then it will be 100% Mexican.

Not good overpriced with horrible pop music playing loudly, they have a jukebox but you have to beg the employees to turn there crap off so you can hear your own music. Food was not good, very expensive. They stuck ground beef into the marinara sauce on my cheese bread, absolutely discusting. I dont see what the hype is for this place. Just another overpriced crappy knock off restaurant.

This is Detroit lakes signature restaurant, they have a huge selection of beer on tap and are known for their pizza that is delicious no matter which one you choose. Even when the place gets busy the food seems to be speedy. During the summer holidays the line just to get in can be long but its the place to be. Overall its a great place to enjoy while at the lakes.

Service was what you expect when its busy! Drinks were good, but having to grab my bf every time i went up for drinks or vice versa just so they can see the wrist band may have been a bit over done. Then again there were rally races last night, so maybe.Great music very welcoming place! Love the lake view as well! They have so many events all the time.

Came from out of town stayed here for 2 days. First night after swimming checked this place out. Ordered coctails while waiting for our drinks seen these large pizzas and nachos. Decided to come here again the second night. Pizza was great atmosphere and the ppl so friendly and helpful for being our first time here. Thanks

They have gluten-free pizza here. They also had plenty of room for a large party of hungry people on a Saturday night. The manager told me there were no open tables when I called before arriving, Im not sure if he had his eyes closed when he gazed out upon the restaurant or just didnt understand the question

This restaurant looks very nice from the outside. I dont know why it is labeled as a Mexican restaurant. The food was not up to par. The drinks are reasonably priced. They do also have 40+ beers on tap. Staff was kind but very distant and didnt ask once how we were doing or how we thought the food was.

Ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza tonight. The quality missed the mark with me. Menu claims like a cheeseburger but better." Not! The crust was good but something was off and I think it was the sauce. Next time Ill stay home and have a Tombstone Pepperoni. 1/4 the cost and better!

Service was terrible. Smoking allowed on patios and at the bars connecting the inside and out. With an open air restaurant it becomes an all smoking restaurant. Wasps were everywhere!!! Including in the food and drinks. People may go because of location but it is not worth it.

We dont miss Zorbaz when in the Lakes area. This restaurant is a good one to visit. The store is larger than most. The restaurant is huge and can seat many people, though it is always packed being right on the beach in Detroit Lakes. We always love the pizza and nachos!
