The food was okay...nothing really gourmet about it to me. It is the same food you can get at any Coney Island...but it might be better and cheaper at another Coney Island. The food was extremely over priced and they up-charged $.99 for cheese! The cook chastised the waitress about charging us a dollar extra for putting cheese on my chilli dog. I saw him load someone elses hot dog with cheese, so I assumed for all the yelling he did towards her, I would see plenty of cheese. When I got home there was no cheese to be found on my Chilli dog. I even scrapped all of the chilli off to be sure. For all the hype this place had when it first reopened...my expectations were not met. The wait for three hotdogs was over 20 minutes. I could have bought all of the ingredients and cooked it at home for a cheaper price and better experience. The only upside was that our waitress was really nice...even though it seemed like that cook yelling at her happens regularly. :-( This is totally my opinion and im stating facts that I experienced at this establishment.

Best Chicago dog I have had this side of... Chicago. Big meat, loaded with tasty fresh topping. Great! (To those crying in earlier reviews: It is a Chicago dog! It is supposed to be huge, overloaded, and hard to handle. If you do not leave a mess behind when eating it, you bought an inferior Chicago dog. DUH.) And the price was right for what you get. This is not a typical Michigan coney island! It is a gourmet hotdog place (see the name). Dont compare the two. Coney Islands are jacks of all trades, masters of none. Never had a Chicago dog even close to this good at any C.I.. My Burger sliders were obviously made to order while I waited. Bacon was top notch. I do NOT recommend the drive thru if you are in a hurry. Just dont. They make stuff fresh when you order it. It takes TIME. If you want fast and get the same old reheated junk, go to Burger King the next door down. But I think the time I waited for my food was justified. I will be back.

"What did i like about it?" Nothing. We got there and were told "your waitress will be with you in a moment" 10 minutes later a woman walked up to us for our drink order, we place it. 10 more minutes later a completely different woman came over and gave us one milkshake but didnt bring us our 2 additional waters. 10 more minutes later another completely different woman gave us our food without the waters. Ordered 3 bacon cheedar sliders and the meal consisted of just Bun, Bacon, and shredded cheese. No meat! Just bun, bacon, cheese, bun. Told our original waitress and she goes and checks for us, comes back and says "yep, thats the way theyre supposed to be". Really? 7 DOLLARS for BUN, CHEESE, BACON AND SOME MORE BUN!!!! I will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone!

This is my go to Coney since theyre open 24 hours and theres even a drive through. They make amazing omelettes and sandwiches. The food portions seem rather large to me for the price. Unfortunately, the drive thru lines can be long even if youre the only car through. Its substantially worse on holidays. I spent a little under an hour on New Years waiting in the drive thru when there was only one car in front and when I got my food it was cold, soggy, and inedible like they had finished making it 30 minutes prior and it was just waiting. At that point just either wait until Im at the window or remake it. The Coney is amazing 94% of the time but that experience alone was really off putting.

Stomach ache next morning, left tip was passed a fountain drink through drive through top not on all the way and cup soaked in root beer. Fixed the top myself before pulling it in to the car and asked for a few extra napkins because this was an obvious mess. Reply was oh I put some in one of your bags.... just saying its the simple things like clean the pop off the cup before you hand it to someone and if its covered with pop and they ask for napkins be so kind and hand the person some since you werent mindful enough to clean the mess you passed them yourself

They messed up my order and the "manager" said she had to call the owner to see what she could do. First off ur job is to please the customer second theres no way my food should have made it out of the restaurant looking the way it did. Then when she calls back she says the owner said to bring up the old food to get it replaced. Lol really. Thats so inconveniencing and inconsiderate. I will NEVER eat here again and neither will anybody I know.

Best hot dogs around! 1 fills a plate! Being used to puny little hot dogs from sonic or coney islands around I ordered 3 The waitress asked if I was sure. When she brought out these huge loaded dogs I realized why! I could barely eat two and Believe me at 300+ lbs I can eat! and the prices are very good. And the hottest waitresses around. and friendly too. I drive a long way to go here. Headed there now!

Been here a couple times. Food is good and affordable. Service is however not great. My last visit had me and my sons be the ones in the place, (8pm) and I had to take my drink to the counter for a refill as my waitress to busy leaning on the wall to refill it. The conversation about shopping by the 3 servrrs was a bit too intense to check on the table. Not sure if Ill be headed back any time soon.

food is good but portions are small got a gyro sandwich which was like a kids sized meal sandwich for $7.99 1/3 size of any other coney island 2 or 3 dollars more. chilli cheese fries look good till you open box thats half full. if the box was full it would have been better. good food just small portions over priced but waitress was polite. great taste less filling lol

I dont normally rate things, but this was just bad. I ordered two chicago dogs. The hot dogs are 3.99 each, which is high for a hot dog. I got it to go. There were more toppings under the hot dog bun than were actually in it. It was difficult to eat, not very good, and simply a mess. Worst chicago dog I have ever had, and the most expensive.

Great food however they have gotten my order wrong the last 3 times I have gone there. Mostly it is the newer people they have hired you can tell they lack skill. The chefs are good people and so are the waitresses. I would recommend going during the middle of the day to evening when some seasoned workers are there.

Disgusting. I only tried the food 1 time when they first opened up. You would think they would care about making a good first impression but they clearly did not. Some items were missing. I had to turn around and go back to get the rest of the items I paid for and nothing was cooked to quality at all.
