Went with coworkers on our lunch hour. We ordered our food immediately when we sat down. After 20 minutes, we asked the status of our orders. We were informed they were making more fries. 40 minutes later and still no food we asked if we could have our meals put in to go boxes. The waitress never apologized, in fact she acted as if boxing up our meals that we didnt get to eat was a hassle for her. We will never go back. I have been to the Detroit Burger Bar in Lake Orion multiple times and have only had good experiences.

Burgers were good , mine was a little heavy on the Cajun spice. The manager was friendly with all the tables but our. Our waitress not so good , I ordered my second drink , she another of the same and I said no Id like to try the first one ( I forgot the name of it) on the drink menu . She brought me the same drink I just had but she was so worried about boxing up our food and rushing us out we drank up and left. Bad experience for my husbands birthday.

I had the patty melt and upgraded to onion rings for only $1 more. The melt was done perfectly and the onion rings were great. The waitress was really friendly and personable. She brought me extra Thousand Island sauce for the burger without me even asking which is something I usually have to do at other places when getting a melt. Was full after eating 1/2 the burger and rings. Great meal with my son.

Forgot about us. Took over ten minutes until we were able to wave someone down to greet us after we were seated. Food was good. We had $3 coupon and would not let us use it with a gift card. Our kids paid cash for the $25 gift card but we couldnt use with a coupon. Trying to process that logic??? Not on the top of our list to return with so many other local choices.

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant. My wife bit into one of her onion rings and a white dry batter came out. The manager came out and said this had happened to other customers, said he was sorry, and left. They were not even going to adjust the bill until I said something! We will not be going back and will tell others of our experience!!

My wife and daughter enjoyed their hamburger and sliders, the wait staff was pleasant and service good. Unlucky me, I ordered a reuben. bitter sauerkrant, on unrecognizable cheese and crusty white texas toast, not rye! My advice dont go to hamburger bar and not order a hamburger!

Great place. Have lived nearby for a while and never stopped in because I really dont like bars. Ill be going back again. Actually have been back. Great burgers. Best around really. The staff is friendly and the prices are good for the amount of food you get.

The place was loud and the service very slow. Granted it was open mic night. We had to hunt down our server several times. It seemed an inconvience that we were only getting drinks. Then at the end when we were ready to cash out the tab was wrong.

Its in the name. Good burgers and fries. The topings could have been prepared better, since most of our burgers had very thick/lazy cuts of onion and tomatoes that had to be picked off. If you want more than burger options on a menu, dont go here.

One of the best angus burgers I have ever had. Just cheddar cheese, pickle chips, mustard and ketchup. Ate the whole 1/2 pound burger and we will be coming back for another one! Stephanie at the bar also made us some good drinks!

Just ok, the food was fine. I personally dont like the taste of burnt bread so I dont get why they purposely do so with branding the bun. It is so dark and loud. So definitely more on the bar side than a restaurant.

Great service, excellent food. Stopped in for the first time with a friend and had lunch. Afterwards one of the owners came out to the parking lot to talk cars. Very friendly. Will absolutely go back.

Burgers lacked flavor and greasy as opposed to juicy and flavorful. Ours were medium and medium rare but you could only taste the condiments. Wont be back. Probably go to Bagger Daves next time.
