My husband and I were thrown out of Old Stone by the owner. My husband had asked the waitress to have his steak cooked a little longer - he had ordered medium rare and the steak was served rare and cold. The owner came out of the kitchen raving: he told us to leave in a shower of expletives unlike anything I have ever heard. We should have known better than to go there because weve had problems before. Two times, we were served old shrimp (nothing in the world like a mouthful of ammonia) and once we were served a seriously overcooked steak. Its too bad because we have had excellent meals in the past. Its definitely off our list for good now!

My experience was awful. We dine out frequently and this is hands down the worst service I ever dealt with. When asking for a Hurricane I was told they dont know how to make that. Fine. So I says, how about a mie tie or a rum runner or somethihng like that. The bartender(?) comes over and proceeds to tell me that we are not in the Caribbean that they dont make those drinks. Then proceeds to offer me a martini(seriously?). I would have left right then had I not been waiting for family to arrive. Very bad night out. In fact I still am thinking about it now weeks later.

My friend who lives in the area suggested the Old Stone for dinner when I was visiting, and we both had a great time. Our waitress was unobtrusive but attentive, and our table by the fireplace was the perfect spot to spend time on a winter evening. Drinks were well made and generously sized, and the scallops were heavenly. Im looking forward to visiting my friend again

I LOVED this place. Had a bowl of their seafood chowder.... 2 spponfuls later asked how much I could take to go. It was AMAZING! I also had their fried perch.... perfectly cooked and tasted terrific. My husband got their buffalo burger... he was quite the whole time we were there. His mouth was full the entire time, happily! I recommmend anyone in the STATE of Michigan and any out of towners go to this place. FANTASTIC!!!!

I cant believe that WOW review! I go there quite often and had wonderful food every single time. The owners are wonderful and come out often to talk with the customers. Thats how we got to know them. We live 20 miles away and feel it a treat to drive and have a meal there. We have introduced several friends and they love the place as well. Give it a try and see how WoWed you are by the great food!

Just left Old Stone it was our first time trying it and drove from Sterling Heights to try it, we were told since we were a party of 4 with a baby they couldnt accommodate us. We offered to sit at separate tables and they still wouldnt seat us. Stated they were short staffed, but I believe it was because we had a 15 month old. I will never be back.

I am not sure how anyone could write a negative review on this Bar & Grill. My nephew from DC always request to come here for dinner when in town. Last night we were a group of 6 and the service and food was excellent. Our waitperson, Jill, was very attentive and courteous at all times.She took those extra steps to make our evening superb.

Verbally assaulted by an unknown employee (either manager or owner, I assume). Said employee used the foulest language I have experienced in my 70 years. All because we left after sitting unattended for over 10 minutes. Used to be a frequent customer. Will never go there again and am contemplating legal action.

Arrived with a party of 8. They claimed to be too busy to take us as a group (the restaurant was maybe half full) and said they cant push tables together or split parties. Be wary coming with any party larger than 4.

Love this place! Taken a few people there and they all loved it as well. Great food, cozy atmosphere and they have a few pleasant but unusual menu items. Highly recommend!!
