One star? Yeah right. Not by a long shot. This place is just a sad excuse for a bar. My wife and I went here for karaoke with some friends one night. We were the first to arrive. We sat at what was the "cleanest" table in sight. It was still disgusting. After sitting for about 15 minutes with NO ONE walking up to us, I stopped a waitress to ask for "someone" (anyone) to help us. She said she was busy. Finally a woman came over to take our drink orders. She was short with us and very unpleasant. My wife ordered a dirty martini and I, being the DD, ordered a Sprite which took another 10 minutes, solid. This, I could understand if they were busy... but we were one of may ten in the whole place at that time. So, the finally brought our drinks. Now, my wife really enjoys dirty martinis. We are no connoisseurs by any stretch of the imagination, but what she got could have passed for gasoline. I mean it was awful. It was also served in what I assume to be a dollar store glass. It couldnt have held more liquid than a dixie cup. We started joking about how expensive it was saying, "I bet its only $5." Then she said, "Watch, its probably $8!" We laughed. When the waitress was walking by, because she never stopped by to ask how everything was, I had to get her attention and address the drink. First I asked how much it was. I think I literally fell off my chair when she said so solemnly, "Twelve dollars." I told her it was really undrinkable and she basically told us too bad. When I asked to speak to her manager she told me, "Sure, feel free. Shes right behind the bar." Of course, the awful drink was made by the bartender. When I spoke with the bartender and explained my concerns, the bartender said, "Well, I know how to make a dirty martini and thats what that is." I told her we were going to be there all night drinking, we just wanted to exchange it for something different. She told me "Absolutely not." Needless to say, I left the drink at the bar before going to sit back down. I was super excited to find out when I asked for a refill on my Sprite that, BIG SURPRISE!!... these cheap-ohs dont offer free refills. You figure you might give ONE COURTESY refill and say "Next time Ill charge you." But no. So, I asked for water. Only took her 20 minutes to bring one over. So, at that point, our friends arrived. For the rest of the ENTIRE evening, the waitress didnt come by one single, solitary additional time to ask if we needed anything. Our waters were the very last sign of any reminents of service Wellington Pub had to offer us. As everyone cashed out at the end of the night, we thought it relevant to write on our receipt, "You dont do refills, we dont do tips." And crossed out the tip section. I held onto the receipt until we were leaving, intentionally. As we left the bar, the waitress made it a point to follow us OUT OF THE BUILDING to start screaming at us about how "classy" we were not tipping her and some other nonesense. The best part was, the so-called manager came out behind her screaming, "What the!? Did those **** not pay?" We explained we did, but didnt tip because the restaurant and service was a joke. We were cursed at, yelled at and even had the waitress do a kicking motion at us. 20% of our bill would have been just under what, $3.00? Now Im not well off by any means, but to put up SUCH a fuss over $3.00 seems a little extreme. The best part of our interaction was, upon finding out further information later that evening: Our waitress was the daughter of the owner. The owner, was the bartender. Really? This is how you run your own bar? Im 26 years old. All of my friends my age go to bars. We spend massive quantities of cash on alcohol weekly. You can guarantee every single solitary person Ive spoken to about local bars has heard me tell them, "Even if your life depended on it, NEVER EVER EVER GO TO THE WELLINGTON PUB!!!" One star? Yeah right. Not by a long shot.

worst place ever. the staff was so rude and took forever to take our orders. the bathrooms were disgusting. we got there early and ordered food first. the woman behind the bar ended up going to make our food. I went to use the restroom and there was a little hallway on the way back to our table. she was eating and LICKING her fingers while preparing our food. DISGUSTING!!! needless to say, we didnt touch our food. I laughed when the girl asked after 2 hours of our plate sitting there if we wanted a box. yeah right!!! we were there for a friends party so we toughed it out and tried to make the best of it. as the night went on, it got worse. now mind you, this was my third time in this place. I always knew it to be a whole in the wall but last weekend was my final straw. the karaoke host was god awful and he was obnoxious. at one point some blonde trashy bimbo took over for a bit and when my friend went up there to ask how far along he was to sing, she snapped and said I dont know its not my show im just helping. pardon us! apparently we werent the only ones having a bad experience. at the end of the night there was a nice couple outside who walked out irate because there waitress snapped at them for leaving a small tip. um hello, what do you expect? you deliver awful service and want a good tip? I dont think so. so when I walked back in to take care of my bill, I purposely left a less than average tip as well. and than I hear that the waitresses and bar tenders are the owners. HA! how dare they even expect tips. as the owners that is VERY trashy. terrible staff, terrible karaoke hosts, all around a terrible place. there are so many nice places in that area to go, so definitely do not waste your time at the wellington pub. also, someone needs to notify the health department on these filthy pigs.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday with a night of karaoke and good drinks, so Wellington Pub was a great choice (not to mention its 3 minutes from my house). I invited quite a few friends, about 20-25 showed up, to celebrate with me. The staff at Wellington was amazing, Loree was our waitress and she was so friendly and attentive. She was able to keep the drinks flowing all night without a hitch. We ordered appetizers as well as other food items on the menu and everything was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The prices were not bad at all. Before coming here I had read the reviews and was a bit weary of having a party here, but after calling other places this was the only one that had karaoke on Saturdays so I decided to ignore the reviews and I AM SO GLAD I DID! Ryan was in charge of playing the tracks for the Karaoke and he did a great job. He chose an awesome variety and gave everyone a chance to sing that wanted to. Everyone at my party had the best night, I was told on several occasions that night and for the rest of the weekend that this was one of the best places they had been too. The pub was clean from the tables down to the bathrooms. Everything was organized very well and all of the people there were very fun. When going to a karaoke bar you need to have an open mind as to who may be present at the bar, thankfully everyone there was so fun and down to earth. There were no loser guys trying to hit on you or overly drunk obnoxious people. Everything was great, I can go on and on and on. I will definitely be having other events here. I highly highly recommend Wellington Pub.
