Took my Mom to the Chicken Shack by my house (Harper, S. of 13) cuz weve been craving it...Wellll....I can tell ya....it isnt like it use to be! They need to tweek it! Most of them arent clean anymore, Chicken is over cooked, & the broasted potatoes are overly drenched in butter!! Unfortunately this will probably be our last time going!!

I mistakenly placed my online order to the wrong location. The SCS Chicken Shack staff called the other location, corrected the problem and made up the order for me. Could not ask for better, or more professional and courteous service. The food, of course... excellent. Thank you SCS Chicken Shack.

Its a good staple for the area. Best to order ahead of time. Wait times can get extreme. Some staff members are really cool and hook it up with free sauce. Others like to act like they are handing out liquid gold. The place isnt cheap. The coleslaw and roasted potatoes are top notch.

Placed a $45 order and only received half of it and then was told I could either wait while prepared the rest or get a $12 credit. I should have gone back because I dont see myself going back any time soon. P.S. the grilled chicken was chared and dry as a bone.

Good chicken but the broasted potatoes are the best. There are some nice lunch deals for around $8. The sliders 2 for $2 are nice but they are sliders. There a couple bites. Everything is cooked to order so you will wait 10 minutes but ours worth it.

I like the broasted food as an alternative to fried from time to time. Ordering on online works great when you dont want to wait especially if youre running errands. The quality and quantity is worth it when splurging as the price is moderate.

What can be said about a metro detroit legend that hasnt already been said? The chicken is perfect and the potatoes are sublime. If youve never tried it, get on it. Youll be going back, Especially if you get the tender bites.
