They claim because theyre an express location, they dont have the products to make the items on their menu. For example they dont have the pepper jack cheese for the spice deluxe. They also charge extra for to substitute items. Even though the Spicy Deluxe is supposed to come with cheese, because they dont carry pepper jack, they charge extra ($0.40 per sandwich) to put American cheese on it. I would give a better review if they were not charging extra to substitute cheese, and were not doing false advertising, by showing items on the menu that they can not serve due to the owners business decisions.

Id love to write a positive review for this Chick-Fil-A, but its kinda hard when theres only ONE in the entire state...and when that one location has weird business hours. Ive been to quite a few locations in the south, and the food was absolutely amazing. This franchise would make a killing here, especially as a refreshing departure from other so-called chicken establishments like KFC, Churchs, and Popeyes. Why they havent come to Michigan (*cough* Flint, Burton, or Grand Blanc *cough*) is beyond me. Please rethink this strategy.

Why is this the only one in Metro Detroit? I cant drive out to Oakland University every time Ive gotta fill a hankerin for some waffle fries and Chick-fil-A chicken strips! And that sauce! Come on Chick-fil-A lets go open up some more locations! And if you havent been to a Chick-fil-A before waffle fries, Chick Fil-A sauce, and their chicken strips are going to change your world of chicken!

This is NOT a real Chick-Fil-A! It is the college campus "express" version where the only choices are grilled or crispy and waffle fries. The food sits out all day and is not as fresh or as good as the real deal. It is funny to see the good reviews on this place. They have probably never been to a real Chick-Fil-A. Haha! Too bad this is the only one in Michigan.

Its a chick fil a, so of course its delicious. This location is in the Oakland University campus though, in the Oakland Center. Its open to the public but call the number to see current hours on the recording. Parking is available for free on the campus anywhere where it doesnt say restricted. It also has a very limited menu.

Warning: on campus location. Didnt find out until AFTER making the drive across town that theyre closed for the spring and summer semesters, will reopen in the fall. I can honestly say that I am truly disappointed with this place, especially as an OU graduate. I had my taste buds especially set on a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, but sadly when I arrived, they announced that there was no more grilled chicken or waffle fries. Thats just cruel! Also, it was not very clean.

Ill have to agree with Josh Long underneath me. My wife and I just drove 1 hour across town to only find out that Chick Fil A was closed. No Hours of operation for them or anything! This should not be the only location in Michigan, which is located inside of Oakland University!

They have the best Chicken sandwich, I have been to this place like so many times and the taste never changed from what I had the for the first time. I had it even today loll. Without any question you can go and enjoy there delicious sandwiches and nuggets.

Dont waste your time. My wife and i drove 30 minutes to go eat. And chick fli a is inside oakland college. And closed summer and spring. Only open during winter. Why is the only location in the whole state inside a college

One of if not the only Chik-Fil-A locate in MI. The service is reasonably fast considering the long line during lunch time and the food is fast food quality as you would expect but its still good enough for the price.

Terrible customer service waited 10 minutes for my sweet tea to be HANDED to me, and instead of taking my $10 and my 75 cents only took the 10 and gave me a TON of change when i didnt even have a wallet

This place makes great food. But is poor about making it correctly. I ordered the 12 piece nugget meal. I wound up getting 9 nugget and the fries were turned upside down in the bag. Very dissatisfied.

Remodeled, this Chick-Fil-A Express is every bit as good as down south. Not open on Sundays. Can be busy during lunch hours, in Oakland Center on the grounds of Oakland University.
