If you want okay ice cream, you have come to the wrong place. If you are looking for good ice cream, move along as this place is not for you. If you desire to have a taste of great ice cream, you might as well keep on looking as it is not this place. If you want the best ice cream that has ever graced the earth with its presence, look no further, you have found what you have sought. Even though it is a true fact to say that Plainwell Ice Cream has the best ice cream in the world, it is yet an understatement. Looking up in the night sky on a crystal clear night, one will see that there are too many stars to count and even more that go unseen. Knowing this, the fact that there are trillions and trillions of stars and planets, I am 100 percent certain that Plainwell Ice Cream makes and serves the best Ice Cream in not only our solar system and galaxy, but the entirety of creation. With the unlimited expansion of the universe, Plainwell Ice Cream is in a continual state of becoming greater and greater. When the universe expands, it gets bigger and bigger. This means that Plainwell Ice Cream is constantly the best of a bigger and bigger universe, making that accolade of Best in the Universe all the more impressive. Stephen Hawking, a physicist, cosmologist, and dreamer, is one of the many proponents of the multiverse. This meaning, in simple, that there are unlimited universes and we are part of just one. Plainwell Ice Cream is the best of all of them. I find myself writing this review on a cold winter day and although it is cold, I still long for a sweet creamy taste Plainwell Ice Cream. I am waiting and counting down the days till Plainwell Ice Cream opens again so that I may go taste some of its rich and delicious ice cream. After having Plainwell Ice Cream, no other brand measures up to or even close to the quality and standard that Plainwell has set for me. Although other ice cream is good, it leaves me wanting more. It leaves me with a longing and a desire for what I once knew. I appreciate Plainwell Ice Cream but I never truly knew how much I would miss it till it was gone. Not only is the Ice Cream the greatest in existence, the staff and the servers are always friendly and bring a smile to my face no matter how the day was going before I stepped foot into the store. My only regret in writing this review is that I cannot give it six stars out of five. Plainwell Ice Cream, the best Ice Cream.

A junior cone is $2.50. Taste and texture comparable to coldstone but costs way more and you dont get to add anything. Ben and Jerrys is creamier and less expensive and just has better flavor. Plainwell is superior to hagendas. Seems that every year, even in 2008 and 2009 the price keeps going up. I think they used to have great ice cream for the price, now its just too expensive in plainwell and too dried out anywhere else that sells it by the cone. Its a shame, Ive been in plainwell more than 20 years and plainwell ice cream was great 10 years ago.

Always my favorite ice cream! I worked here for 5 years in my youth -- the owners are awesome, and its a local, family run business. So far not much for other food choices, though they have hot dogs with yummy steamed buns for lunch. There is a huge variety of flavors, all made on site!!!! Soooooo delicious!! I prefer Plainwell Ice Cream even over gelato I had in France and Italy!

Small town, great ice cream, community meeting spot, what more can you ask for? I grew up making our own ice cream at the Chocolate Shop in Kalamazoo back in the 60s. Sadly that was one of a kind, and Ive never found anyplace like it since in the world for ice cream. Having said that, Plainwell Ice Cream is the best youll get in Michigan these days.

Plainwell Ice Cream has my favorite flavor of all time: Cotton Candy Confetti. It is rich in taste, light in weight, and full of nostalgia for me. I dont live in the area anymore so its always a special visit when Im in town. This time I topped it off with some Birthday Cake which was delightful. Love your work!

For such a small ice cream parlor, they have a good amount of ice cream flavors to pick from. The ice cream is very good (my favorite, strawberry cheesecake). Their staff is very friendly and accommodating and their prices are reasonable. The parking is quite limited.

visiting my grandparents as a kid was allways a treat not only to see them but to get the chance to eat ice cream here again! i love the cotton candy and cookie dough ice cream, i tell all my friends here in ohio its the best ice cream on the planet!

Outstanding ice cream and lovely family-owned atmosphere. I would consider Plainwell Ice Cream to be one of the top five favorite ice cream shops Ive visited. You must try the Key Lime Pie flavored ice cream, its even better than you imagine it.

I live in wisconsin and when I go to visit family I make sure I go to plainwell icecream atleast once. I tell everyone its the best. Cant wait to take my kids for their first visit next summer

Absolutely the best ice cream place in this area. Maybe all of south west Michigan. I drive from quite far to go here. Its absolutely amazing. I recommend this place strongly.
