I could not believe the variety, the quality and the pride-of-product at this place. Until recently I believed that only in Detroit and in K-Zoo were there GREAT bagels. I even told this to the young man who waited on us. He assured us that these were made the old-fashioned boil and bake way and that he had been boiling and baking since some ungodly hour and could attest to the freshness and quality. We brought home a dozen of various kinds and were truly startled by the quality, There were 2 or 3 kinds which had sold out by the time we were there BUT what we took were superb. We went again yesterday, Monday, only to discover the place is closed on Mondays. (There are other businesses in town also closed on Monday, a surprise to us.) Our next visit will certainly include a visit here and will not be on a Monday and will be earlier in the day!!

They have great bagels, however their service is less than great. Today when I went in, the female behind the case seemed to act bothered to have to work. Her attitude was easily picked up from the moment you walked in the door. Her attitude really became clear when I asked what the size difference between the small and the large cream cheese was. She rolled her eyes and walked a whole three steps to the fridge behind her and held up the sizes of cream cheese. Wouldve given more stars, but customer service is a huge factor in any business.

Bagel man is an amazing place with an extremely friendly family type atmosphere with by far the best bagels I have found anywhere from Florida to Michigan its almost 20 minutes out of my way but by far worth the trip!
