About a month ago I went here, I had a waitress who was young, and very positive!!! I was a bit disgusted however when I was waiting in line for the bathroom and heard our waitress ask for something from the cook. He was rude and even began yelling at her! I walked back to my table and she soon followed with our order and than she explained to us that it would be a wait on our pancakes for my sons #3. After 5 minutes of waiting we asked her if she could go check on them, she went back to check. Again we heard yelling!!! The waitstaff is Great!!!!! The food is O.K. But the cooks are awful. I went back last weekend and the same cook was being rude.

I passed through this restaurant and stopped in. The place looked nice and I thought they would have had good food. As a truck driver who has been to 48 of the states, I have never seen a place that has not only the worse waitresses and customer service but horrible food as well. I ordered the brisket and mashed potatoes, the plate was mostly grease and fat. This restaurant should be reported to the FDA the food does not meet standards of a restaurant criteria. I advise my fellow truckers not to stop and eat here. We work too hard for our money to waste it on garbage that they pretend to be food.

I really wanted to like this place but time after time the service is horribly slow and the food is subpar. The last two times I went they ran out of the item I ordered and only after waiting 35-40 mins for my food did they alert me of the problem. I wouldnt mind waiting so long for great food, however, thats sadly not the case. My breakfast was cold and the turkey in our club sandwich was still frozen. We were given a gift card, which was nice. I just wish the next experience would have been different. The waitresses are also very nice and friendly, its really just the speed/food that kills it.

If you want a good breakfast, follow the folks of advanced age. Hint: theyre all going here. Straight-up traditional breakfast with solid execution. You wont find a lot of feta or cilantro going on. Toast. Eggs. Bacon. Potatoes. On a plate. Boom. Thats by no means a dig. There is something great about a well-executed basic breakfast, and thats exactly what youll find here.

Every town has a quaint little breakfast place that feels like a time machine. Cherokee is this place. Greasy, basic, but delicious food at a good value, like the omelettes or biscuits and gravy, with a couple of healthier options as well, such as fresh cut fruit, make the Cherokee a great place to stop after a night on the town, or a morning in church, (or both).

Ordered hash browns and they came to me still almost frozen then they just threw them in the microwave and still came back cold. My daughter got stuffed hash browns and same thing microwavedo after cold came back nasty and soggy. Horrible experience

I love this place and wish we had one down in FL. I love the staff, food and the environment. I do wish they would update the inside a little bit and maybe think about bringing some light in but the food is awesome and super cheap!

I treat myself to breakfast at least once while Im here because the Cherokee is probably one of my favorite old timey/retro restaurants with good home cookin. The service is also great every time I come.
