So my girlfriend is a celiac. She cannot have gluten or she will get very sick. Most restaurants that have gluten free options will put "if you are a celiac, you may not want to chance it". This is in case of cross contamination. Some places do take the chance with a gluten free menu and are super careful. So we saw that they did have a gluten free menu. The waiter was a nice guy, but really didnt understand being gluten free. We also asked to speak to a manager first and was told it would be easy to talk to a waiter. WARNING. They say they have gluten free options, but they do not care and there is cross contamination. My girlfriend ordered ribs that the chefs said were gluten free. She did not get fries because they were in a fryer with other gluten items (but they say they are gluten free) The wait for the food was slow. When it came out, the ribs had the fries right on them. The waiter asked the chef if that was ok and he said she "should" be ok. SHOULD? If you were allergic to nuts, would you eat almonds if someone said you "should" be ok. After that I was fed up and said I am not eating the food and we should leave. The manager came over and at first was nice. I explained to her she should put "not celiac friendly" on the menu to help other people and to save their ass from being sued. She admitted that they cater to the 99.9% who eat gluten free as a fad. Now I guess she failed math because more than 1% of the world are celiacs. I told her I didnt want my food because I am not going to eat and leave my girlfriend with nothing. Even after that she said she would box it up. I told her I am very sorry but I cant pay for this because of the lack of knowledge and respect to my girlfriend. She then turned into a 3 year old with a dirty diaper and stormed away pissed. Oh I am sorry, youre pissed? You missed out on 20.00? My girlfriend could of went to the hospital because of your laziness, lack of knowledge and not using proper wording on your menu. The waiter came back said everything was on them and that he is so sorry. He had bigger balls than the manager of the place. Sad. Just sad. If the menu said they were not celiac friendly I would of went in and talked to the manger like an adult and probably decided the place was not for us, but thanks anyway. But saying you have s full gluten free menu is false advertisement to all celiacs or people allergic to wheat. I hope someone reads this and realizes what could of happened. And I am sorry but I wont be back because of the disrespect the manager gave me at the end.

We went there for a family Christmas dinner. We had 8 more people coming and they acted stunned. They told us to wait while they got our table ready. A couple walked in behind us 5 minutes later and said they had 9 more coming. They dont take reservations... Half of our group showed up and the other table of 11 was seated first (they got 1 table for 11). We were then taken to the back room were they told us that we could have 2 separate tables but not 1 for all of us. We simply asked if we could put the 2 tables together and not only did they say no they argued about it and then just pushed the 2 tables together. 1 persons soup came out cold they took it back brought it out a minute later and said "oops someone turned it off here you go". Thanks.... Then another person. Ordered there chicken and waffles. The waffle came out burned, burned bad part of the black burned on crust from an U cleaned waffle iron was all over it. They took it back and while everyone else ate they sat and waited for what was supposed to the replacement. Nothing comped no sorrys just a here you go enjoy. Really thats poor service from the front to the back of the house. I would never recommend going there to anyone after such a terrible experience on a day that was supposed to be enjoyable just like any anything you should except from an established business/restaurant. To add to this delightful experience the back room we sat in was freezing cold and they had to turn space heaters on if they would have sat us first in the nicer room were they sat the people that arrived after us we would have been able to take off our jackets.

So the ambiance is nice. We sat on the terrace since it was a beautiful day. The server was friendly and accommodating and the menus are on a tablet. Kinda cool. Everything was great until we received our food. I ordered a Philly cheese steak grinder and she ordered a hamburger. The hamburger was fine but the fries were undercooked. But my grinder was just horrible. If youve ever had a Philly, you know cheese should be plentiful and gooey. Nope, the one slice of cheese they put on it was hard and baked on the bread and hard. They put a bunch of onions on it and a couple green peppers. Then this awful garlic horseradish sauce that just didnt make up for the dry no flavor steak. Im not one to complain but it was just tasteless so I told the waiter. He alerted the manager and they were accommodating as they offered to get me something else or reduce the cost of the sandwich by half. After she asked what exactly was wrong with it, she said Noone else complains about the sandwich. So either it was just my sandwich or people just dont know what a Philly steak and CHEESE sandwich is. With so many good choices in the area we wont be back.

Stopped by there for lunch the other day. We were on our way to the Red Dog Tavern and saw this place, it looked inviting with the outdoor patio area, it was a nice sunny day so we decided to try it. What a mistake. The tables were dirty in fact we had to wait for one to be cleaned, and then we were seated next to a bunch of dirty tables. The menu was ok and we ordered a tuna wrap and "upgraded" the standard chips to the "legendary steak fries" They were plain old fries and were served cold! The tuna wrap had a funny taste, it ended up giving a tummy ache. The hamburger was undercooked (ordered it medium well) The BLT roll up was served open face (so much for a roll up?) It came with a big blob of mayo on the top, you had to mix the ingredients to be able to roll it up. The taste was as bad as the presentation. True to the lousy food , it took about 30 minutes to serve this! My daughter ordered a side of broccoli and it came cold as well. We had to send it back to get them to microwave it. Dont waste your time or money on this place. Milford has many good places to eat. Avoid this like the plague.
