Place is lousy. They charge more to sit and eat. At first I was ordering to go but changed my mind to sit in. The waitress kept coming yelling at me about tip/flashed dollar bills 3 times making me feel uncomfortable. I told her I understood the first time but she still proceeded to come back yelling at me about tip and that she is now serving me for free. Keep in mind I paid for an extra egg roll I never received. The cost of the egg roll is about 33% of a tip. I will not recommend anyone to come here. Food was ok but service is garbage. Then the waitress still complains after I complained to the manager

The food was OK, the service was OK, their management was a train wreck. I had gone as a first time customer based on their website, Their website, however has not been updated in at least two years. That means the prices, the menu and the coupons are, to use a harsh judgment, lies. I tried to explain that practices are misleading at best and criminal at worst. Her response? You should have called first. I should have called first? No, you should have updated your website to present to the customer an honest representation of what to expect.

My boyfriend and I actuallg stopped here on our way to China One, but saw Golden Wheel and decided to check it out. The atomosphere was calm and decorated nicely making you feel like youre in a whole other place. Our waitress was very nice and helpful, my boyfriend and I hope we get her next time were in the area. Our food was amazing and fresh, so much better than other similar resteraunts or other main stream ones. The price is definitly in anybodys range to try. We reccomend this place and will come again!

Found this restaurant while searching for Chinese food and we were surprised at how good it was. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. We ordered the General Tsos Chicken and Fried rice. The atmosphere was great and it felt like a nice place to eat on the weekends. Ever since then, we eat here almost every week, if not, twice a week. My kids love it and its great place for family.

Horrible quality and I want to shoot myself for the amount I paid. I played it safe (or so I thought) with beef and broccoli. The florets werent washed! My eggroll was spoiled and brown inside so I spit it out , and the fried rice was dried and flavorless.. the crab cheese wantons werent horrible but my fortune cookie was the highlight of my meal.. yikes

It is my understanding that the daughter took over the restaurant after the original owner retired...please bring the father back. Back in the day, the General Tsos chicken was my favorite; now it is made with chicken Mcnuggets and taste like a bad version of sweet and sour chicken. The quality is horrible for the $ you pay...AVOID!

Ive ate here 3 times food was awesome here for our 4th time and got the same waitress not to friendly had her 3 out of the 4 would be alot better if she was a little happier.... And the food is excellent... New thing which is a downer no refills on pop no more......... Hmmm that needs to change other than that good place

Ive been coming here for 20 yrs probably n have never had a bad meal...trying to talk to someone who cant speak a lick of English has put me over the top a time or two but I always go back cuz the food is really good. I feel bad its nvr busy n if they had better location theyd prob do a hell of lot more business..

I had been skeptical about trying this place and I wish I never took that chance. The food is bland. Portion size is ok but whats portion with terrible tasting food? I had the sesame chicken and I dont know what they gave me but it sure wasnt Sesame. The place was empty and I can see why.

It was so nasty the best thing About the good was there dinner roll my mom was eatting her Rica and she found something black so she asked told the lady she found it in her good and all the lady could say is that its rice they are so rude in there as well. I Wil never eat there again

Every half-day, all through my high school career (at Lamphere, up the road), we went to the Golden Wheel for their lunch buffet, which was consistantly delicious. Furthermore, their take-out is a great value. Whenever I come home to Madison Heights, I always order from Golden Wheel.

Tried every other Chinese restaurant in Madison Heights and Golden Wheel is by far the best. Food is tasty, hot and the staff are very friendly. They even have the sweet rolls if you are like me and like them with your Chinese food. Will not eat Chinese food from anywhere else.

Good food! Egg rolls are great, have the sprouts. Shrimp fried rice is good, it has the tiny shrimp in it. Shrimp and broccoli is really good. They were not as attentive, we had to ask a few times for things. Asked for lemons for the tea, they brought two at a time.

Golden Wheel is only a few minutes from my house and me and my friends go there soemtimes. The food is good. (i would recommend the sweet and sour chicken.) All the waitresses are nice and the food comes out quickly.

Food is not good anymore now that there are new owners. Which I feel should have been made known. They claim its the same food but its not. I have been eating there with my family for 10 years. Not anymore!

Worst Mongolian Beef I have ever had, hands down. Overcooked vegetables and minimal sub par beef. Felt like I was eating baby food it was so mushy. The BBQ pork appetizer was decent. Never again.

Its a good choice over fast food. Ive had their Almond chicken several times. Slightly different every time. Dont go if youre too picky. But decent offerings for the price and portion size.
