Used to order here all the time until now.... we spent almost $50 to get the wrong soup that wasnt closed all the way... then leaked on everything and ruined the gravy for our almond chicken.... called to let them know I received wrong soup... was told i could get credit for soup but that almondchicken wasnt ruined so why would he replace it just bc I had no almond gravy to put the chicken.... waitress was nice and trying to be helpful but the Chinese speaking guy I could hear in the background was loud, rude and arguing in the background..... basically called me a liar and told me to get over it. We will never be back!! Not as if it was best place around anyway just close. And they never gave us any plum sauce for the egg rolls or fortune cookies.... very disappointed! !

Ive been eating here for years and years and never had an issue.. Until today. I order a sesame chicken dinner meal and my husband got sweet and the sour chicken meal. The soup and egg rolls were good like usual but when the dinner arrived, we were disgusted. Chicken was almost burnt, and the rice was mush and flavorless. We each only took one bite and debated on saying anything because we have always enjoyed this place! We told the owner as politely as we could about our meal and he STUCK HIS FINGERS IN MY RICE AND ATE IT. Then said it tasted fine. Seriously?!? No class!! I was disgusted! Then we were forced to pay FULL PRICE for our meal! We will NEVER go back to that dump. Such a disappointment.

Im not from imlay, I just visit my family every weekend and this was the first time eating here, worse chinese Ive tasted anywhere. I didnt know I had to pay $1.25 for a can of coke as a drink, you dont even get refills like everywhere Ive been, they should of told us that upfront. Food was nasty, sweet and sour chicken didnt taste like sweet and sour. The food made me sick and after 3 bites I was already full and had a dry mouth from all the salt. If never go there again. Wasnt worth the $30 we didnt even take the food home.

Had been a long time customer and been highly supportive of this particular Chinese restaurant. Today I ordered the almond boneless chicken and it was awful (Batter was too thick on it and was very soggy/not done. No big deal, its usually very good. Called them up and they said to bring it in and they would remake it. Went back and they were upset about the complaint and asked us to leave. Eventually got the money back. All the manager said was "I dont want to argue" and sent us on our way. Never coming back. AWFUL SERVICE!!!

horrible i called their like i always do every week to order food and i told him i couldnt hear him well please slow down and he starting bickering and then hung up on me then i went to the store to tell him i come here every week and i think that was very rude he said okay then get out of my store u dnt eat here no more then..... very rude anyone that treats a paying happy customer like that. just shows how he probably runs his company

Used to be good til today called cause there was an issue he even knew he messed up said I lived about 1/2 hr away. He said freeze it. And started yelling. Wouldnt even try and work with me, even after admitting it. Willnever go again. He should have have the phone to someone who understood the order in the first place

"Crab" ragoons that actually have no crab meat in them for six bucks.( Ill pass of the deep fried cream cheese.) And mushy sesame chicken. The batter on the chicken was barley cooked, deff dissatisfied! Twenty dollars wasted! The only thing worth eating was the wonton soup. Bad choice for the weekend take out !

My entire family & myself have always been fans of Wah Wongs. We loved the food while the owners had just the restaurant in Lapeer, & we love their restaurant in Imlay City as well! Wah Wong in Imlay City is the only place I will eat Chinese food, it is absolutely to-die-for!!!!!! Id give ten stars if I could :)

We have called and ordered take-out several times recently. The food is AMAZING!! We order the dinner for 6 because we love to have leftovers! Seriously happy to have found this place. Their menu is enormous, plenty of options for everyone. Truly, good stuff!

Wah Wongs is a good local Chinese restaurant. Yes, they use MSG, but doesnt everyone nowadays? Id like to eat MSG free food, so I make it myself. Love the sweet and sour chicken, great egg rolls too! Cheap, clean, friendly, what more could you ask for?

Started eating here 20 years ago. They used to be the best. We moved out of the area and havent found a replacement. They had awesome plum sauce/ egg rolls/ wonton soup. Last time we stopped in it was still good, but not at the same level it had been.

Absolutely rude to hang up on a customer! My order was not complete wanted to argue with me. You owe me a dinner! Sadly I use to stick up for this place. Not anymore. Check your order before you leave if you have to choose this place.

I ordered shrimp fried rice, with no onions and 2 egg rolls.They put onions in my rice, and this is the first time I ever got burned rice....the egg rolls were disgusting....I will never return!!!!

One of the best Chinese sit down restaurants we have been to. Everytime my boyfriend and I want Chinese we will draw that 20 minutes to come here....great place!

There meat isnt chewy like other places. My cousins worked there for years our family loves it! Prices are great especially when I have 3 picky eaters under 6.
