I call it like I see it
Ok... So, Ive been hearing about how wonderful this restaurant is, since I moved to holly. My husband and I decided to check it out after years of hearing about the wonderful food. The pizza we ordered was really good, I will give them that. However, I was less than impressed with everything else. The restaurant is very dirty and dark. Also, what is with the old, dingy plastic dishes? We spent like $40 on our food... Why cant we have some proper dishes? The plates were cracked and looked dirty and it just added to the overall dirtiness of the joint. The customer service wasnt bad, but, it wasnt good either. We wont be returning.

Red Devil is a pillar of the Holly community. Its not uncommon for various community groups to gather at the Red Devil to celebrate a game won, a play finished, or an event over. The service is great, though at times could be better. The food — save the pizza — is a little on the expensive side. However, the restaurant is always clean (if not a little dark) and Ive never, having eaten there for over 23 years, been served something less than great. If you want to experience Holly, Michigan, you have to try Red Devil.

Went here when my family first moved to the Holly area 8 years ago and stopped in for lunch--it was absolutely the worst food and worst service we ever had. People kept saying how great the food was here. About 6 years later, we decided to give Red Devil another try--so glad we did. WE LOVE IT!!! I dont know what happened, but the service is much better and the food is excellent! This is our favorite restaurant. The pizzelli is fantastic and their deep dish pizza is definately worth the extra wait time.

This place is an ok restaurant. The salad was mostly lettuce with not much else on it. I had chicken parmesan and my wife had their pizza. Her pizza was good but she said it could have had more seasoning. My parm was a glorified chicken strip basket with marinara and cheese. I would order it again. I would go here again. This was nice because they are open later than most of the other restaurants besides the bars in downtown holly. Price was ok for what we got.

So people like this place and I get why. Very old school Italian-American pizza parlorish. Hearty, with lots of red sauce and cheese. It does what it does well. We were sent there for Italian and my prior description is more accurate than that. Proper expectations will make this a homerun for comfort food seekers.

I have gave this place a few times.. Ive tried the pasta, pizza & the fish and chips. Everytime its disgusting. Also the fact that you have to pay for a take out pizza box is outrageous. Dont recommended at all. Only reason Ive went here that many times is because I live 3 seconds away and like to go out to eat.

Very good prices, especially for the portion sizes. I had the meatball sub, and my husband had the veal parm sub. It only took 15 minutes to get our food. My sandwich was excellent - well seasoned, good ratio of meat to bread, and there wasnt the slightest bit of soggy bread.

Their food sucks. Be better off eating spaghetti os or prison food before eating at red devil. Watery salad and watered down dressing. The cooks probably graduated from kindergarten cooking school. Not worth the trip or even going near.

Food is average to below average. The pizza salad thing was nifty but lacked flavor and really is just a grinder without sausage, mushrooms and some other flavors. There is nothing sinister here but also nothing exemplary. 3 stars.

Wasnt impressed with the overall experience. All the food seemed to be made operating on the premise that grease will make up for a lack of seasoning. Overall struck me as a greasy spoons diner disguised as an Italian restaurant.

Some of the best Italian food around, its a great little mom and pop pizzeria style restaurant, and their Pizza is top notch, so is their pastas especially the ravioli, and you HAVE TO TRY the deep fried cauliflower!!!

Notice the bad reviews are old and anonymous. Our shop gets food from here often. They have very good pizza with fresh ingredients (no dehydrated mushrooms here!), great, meaty subs and a very good pizzelli.

I dont get why this place is always busy. Went here once and wont go again. Service was lousy, food was greasy and made my family sick. You want good pizza - order it from somewhere else.
