JUST GO TO WOLFGANGS, ITS WORTH THE WAIT. Eastown Cafes food is alright, but the customer service is lacking. Ordered a breakfast sandwich, which was great, but also got a side of hash browns with cheese. Youd expect a crispy hash patty with melted shredded cheese on top, right? It was only half crispy, lukewarm, and they just put cold shredded cheese on top and served it to me. When I tried to bring this up with the server (because the side cost extra and I barely touched the hash browns), she mentioned they dont have liquid cheese, which I have no idea why she mentioned that, plus she didnt even offer to fix the problem or remove the item from my bill. They obviously have no idea how standard breakfast items should be made and if youre not going across the street to wait for a table at Wolfgangs, then youre just plain crazy eating at this place for breakfast. Even the food quality is barely above the likes of IHOP or Dennys, Id even consider Grand Coney over this place.

We were initially going to eat at Wolfgangs but it was so busy that we decided to eat here. When we arrived, we were the only patrons so were a little apprehensive. My fiancee and I both ordered the "Eastown breakfast". Our food was served up quickly, 3 eggs, bacon, hash brown and toast. Each item was perfect. The hash brown was anything but bland and in fact the best I have had. The service was good. English was not the waitresss mother language but she managed to communicate effectively although did become a little flustered when another patron began to "make their own menu up" so to speak. We were pleasantly surprised by this establishment and felt the need to review it since Wolfgangs across the street seems to be stealing this little places thunder!

Eastown Cafe is the place I take my company for breakfast. My parents love this place. Its a smaller no nonsense place and their food is always solid. I am pretty sure there is only one server and she kicks butt. She covers the inside and the patio alone all weekend. I personally loved their Eastown Breakfast and their biscuits and gravy. The B&G tends to be on the spicy side, so heads up on that if you are going to have it. Their omelettes are always fluffy. My mother loved the California omelette. The strange part about this place is because there is only one server you have to go up to the register and pay. The bill doesnt get brought to you. That tripped me up the first time I visited but it didnt stop me from returning.

Really loved the food her I got an omelette and my wife got pancakes (which were cooked to perfection). The price was also really good for how much food you get. The waitress was the only one working and she still kept my coffee topped off, so props to her. All in all great food and great prices.

I called in to place an order and the lady hung up in my face and stopped answering my calls. I am very upset and disappointed that the customer service was so poor. I have eaten here before and the food was good but again poor customer service. My suggestion..hire new staff and keep great food

Very good food. Whether youre interested in some dive food, breakfast, or Mediterranean, they will serve you up something delicious. The owners are very nice people. If you find yourself waiting in line at Wolfgangs, come here, you wont be disappointed.

The lady in the kitchen definitely knows what shes doing. Ive had their omelettes, sandwiches and chicken gyros and I cant help but keep going back. But, after Ive had the chicken gyro its hard for me to get anything else, its delicious!

Staff was friendly but Ive had better food from the freezer section of meijers, overly processed meats that tasted like they were microwaved.
