Canton is probably my favorite place to eat in Grand Blanc. The restaurant looks sort of like a dive from the outside...and that sort of continues on the inside (note: it is very clean and well-kept, just the decor is sort of outdated). The food is what matters though, and it is very good. Their egg-drop soup is the best Ive ever had. Their chicken egg rolls are great too, and I hate egg rolls. Just give it a try, we did it on a whim when we lived in the area and were hard-up for some Asian cuisine, and we were hooked! Also, if the owners happen upon this note, if you can, maybe think about moving the location slightly, possibly closer to Meijer / Home Depot, and into a fancier type of building. Most Asian restaurants exist in little hole-in-the-wall establishments, and that is fine because the quality of their food matches that experience. Your food is fantastic though, and it would do it justice to have a restaurant with a bit more glitz. Keep up the good service, great food, and clean accommodations though! Not to mention the price!

Stopped by on a Monday night while in town due to the rave reviews. The place did not have that many people dining in, but people stopped by constantly to pick up to go orders. I noticed quite a few large to go orders that required a box/box lid to carry out. The food was a slightly different style than what I am used though I cant remember the last time l ate at a place that was specifically Cantonese style. It was still good and about what I would have expected for the region. My friends order was messed up the first time but they quickly remade the dish. He is vegetarian and did not seem to love his dish but he ate the whole thing. He also did not report getting sick which Ive seen before when vegetarians are exposed to meat because they didnt clean the pans between cooking dishes. Chopsticks are available on request.

One of the best Chinese restaurants around. Been my familys favorite for years and quickly becomes a favorite too anyone I introduced to this place. My usual is take out. They box well with no spills on your travel home. Great portion sizes wish you can share with no issues but you wont want to cause youll want a excuse to try more then one dish. Menu doesnt explain dishes at all but they will explain or just ask what your looking for and suggest a dish with no hesitation. My go to is moo goo gia pan Chinese veggies and chicken with a white sauce, rarely disappointed but my choice.

The family that runs this restaurant is quite wonderful. Have been here at least once every two weeks for 7 years now and my American belly thanks them for all the wonderful Chinese food theyve fed me. Like any restaurant, they have their good days and bad days, but my experiences tend towards the good days part of the bell curve. My worst experience: learning that the restaurant burned down. My best experience: returning back to Canton after the fire and it was rebuild and reopened. Heres to another 7 years of great food!

My family and I have been going here for years. Dont let the appearance fool you. It might look old and outdated, but its very clean. The food is amazing, prices very reasonable, and the people who serve you are very nice. One valuable hint: you will get almost twice as much food if you order out. My Chinese friends who are foreign exchange students came with me once and told me that the flavoring to the beef is very authentic, so unlike a lof of American Chinese food, you can expect the food here to be the real deal.

Let me start of by saying that I have eaten at a lot of different Chinese places and none can hold a candle to Canton. This was the first place I ate when I moved up here and have not been to another Chinese place since. It is by far the absolute best food. You get huge portions at affordable costs and the wait time is nearly non-existent. I highly highly recommend to any one living in the area!!

The food was very good The service was terrible. The waitress seemed to think she knew everything. Said we had to order even before the last of our group arrived. In a hurry for us to leave. Even though they were not busy. Tried to tell her who was with who. She wouldnt listen and was wrong. Will not go back just because of how rude the waitress was.

Im a regular here, and I can tell you all, hand to God, this is the most baller restaurant in the continental U. S. of A. The General Tsos chicken is certified lit, even Young Metro trusts it. The only thing theyre lacking is a sick twitter for everyone to follow. But in the mean time, you can all follow me @dominic_drago1. Thank you for your time.

The only chinese restaurant around the mid michigan area that is reddit approved. The portion size we were expecting was small but the fried rice was so packed it barely fit in the box. The eggrolls were like a big black thick cock, barely fit in my mouth. Prices are perfect. The wonton soup is awesome. I recommend anything on the menu. A++

Terrible the main entrée was dry & tasteless, the egg rolls (they do not offer spring rolls, why ?) were disgusting the cooked cabbage stuffed in the egg rolls was a good 4 days old & pretty mushy & to the point of tasting rancid. First time ordering will never order again !! Ended up throwing it away - Dont waste your money

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the Flint area. They have excellent service, great hot and sour soup, and my favorite Schezwan chicken. They have homemade spicy mustard and it is excellent. Their egg rolls are always fresh and not soggy. I cant say enough good about this Chinese restaurant.
