Food was good, as was the service, but this place could use a good sprucing up so as not to appear as a dive. Start by paving the parking lot, I can only imagine the mess inside and out in a heavy rain. Speaking of rain, although the outside dining was nice, apparently it had rained heavily the night before and the condiments were left outside overnight, the salt and pepper shakers were full of water. Gentleman..... the health department could shut you down for this, it is a major violation, rainwater is a major cause of salmonella. The chairs and tables were still soaking wet and never wiped down. The inside of the restaurant, with the exception of the gift shop, which looked like a laundry room on washday, was very nice though. With a little bit of cleaning up and some employee training, this could be 5 stars, the potential is there..

Always enjoyed this place, nearby for me during summer vacation, wonderful atmosphere, well supplied bar and kitchen. Friendly attentive staff. Reason for 4 stars is the menu is not entirely accurate. At least regarding the "wings" charging same price for a "1 lb serving of wings" as a chain restaurants who specialize in wings. Upon delivery you will notice that their wings are nothing more than (very thickly) breaded and presumably recently frozen chicken tenders. If you order the buffalo or Siracha sauces then you will be given a side dish filled with Franks red hot buffalo or siracha sauce straight out of the bottle. This is a sorry excuse for a menu item labeled plainly as wings without explanation. :/

Had a great experience at Pickles! Service was amazing and all staff were very friendly and welcoming. Foodwas delicious and drinks very well made! They had a DJ and games on the weekend and a nice outdoor patio looking over the water. All around great experience and highly recommended!

Open in the winter! Nice view of the frozen lake. Good food, not just a burger joint. On main route between Brimley and sault saint marie. Just down the road from the point Iroquois light house. Friendly, homey, play pool and darts.

Waited nearly ten minutes for a waitress to wait on us. The customers on either side of us were helped more than once. We were not even acknowledged. Unfortunately that was enough to walk out.

Great view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is very good - had the whitefish basket and it was excellent. Overall experience was worth 5 stars.
