Looks NOTHING like the picture! So disappointed and left hungry! And Im a tiny female! The burgers are mini size! I got a double and the burgers were so small they didnt even stack and I still had bun around the edges!! My son got a triple and same! 2 doubles and a triple if you added all the meat together you would maybe have a good size double. I never bother writing reviews ever but Ive never been so disappointed and wasted money and left starving! It was maybe slider size! Prices look cheap but for what you get its actually expensive!!! We were in between baseball games and trying something new instead of 5 guys... Had to go thru mcd to get my son more food!!! Never have left a restaurant hungry for lack of food served! I honestly dont know how you serve that and think you should serve it and have happy people! Still shocked!

Good food. Although, I have had issues with the customer service. Once, I ordered online from them, then I receive a call about an hour later from the delivery service saying that they cancelled my order with no explanation. More recently, I figured Id give it another shot and tried ordering again. Three hours past with no update whatsoever. I call to follow up to check the status, the guy on the phone says that my food just left the restaurant. I thank him and patiently wait longer. 40 minutes later, still nothing, I call back and the manager tells me the food hasnt even left the restaurant... Ended up cancelling the order after 3 hours and 40 minutes and requested a refund, which I had to follow up with them several times to even receive. Will not be ordering from here ever again. Overall, yikes.

This is a great greasy spoon short order burger joint. My friend told me that the burgers we as small as white castle so I ordered 4 (+pickle fries) and that was WAY too many. This racked up quite a bill too (~$19 w tax). However, the Ham & Cheese and Patty Melt are full sized sandwiches, the Chicken and Waffles with syrup was bigger than a $1 McChicken, and regular/cheese burgers we small so you would need to double or triple up plus add toppings to get something more filling like you would find as the standard burger archetype at a $$ chain restaurant. The pickle fries were spears cut down to regular fry size before deep frying which meant more breading and they were salty and delicious.

Ordered carryout online and walked over, getting there about 10 minutes after ordering. Food wasnt ready yet - that was fine. I ended up waiting almost 20 minutes there for my food, only to find it had been finished about 15 minutes before I got it and set aside. It just didnt get to me when it was done due to poor coordination. So by the time I got it, it wasnt really fresh. The sliders were forgettable. Just tasted like greasy mush. I dont know if its because they sat for so long or what, but they were not good. The chicken and waffle slider was good, if not really warm by the time I ate it. Im not sure if Id give them another try based on this experience.

I love the food at this place. I normally dont do this review stuff, but I felt it necessary after my latest experience. My roommate and I ordered on grubhub and received only half our order. Not the first time theyve made mistakes, and human error is expected, but this was too much. We took the order back, and explained the situation. They took complete care of us; remade the order, and let us keep the food that was already made. The customer service was amazing! Without asking, the hooked up our fries, and offered us drinks for the wait. Thank you guys so much for caring about your customers and making sure mistakes are not only corrected, but improved. Much love!

This place Is terrible
This place is a joke. The staff arent friendly at all. About a year ago they messed up my carry out order and when I called to tell them they said I dont know what to tell you and hung up on me. Not one bit of help. I decided to give them a try a year later, tonight and after my email confirmation of the order and paying for the food I called and said they didnt have my order after waiting an hour and ten minutes. Deciding to take my number to call me back 15 minutes later we figured it out saying they dont know when my food would get there and now im waiting on my refund. I wont be giving it a third try unless its free from on for wasting my time every time.

Went there on a game day, the place was surprisingly empty. Well, not empty but a lot less peopled than I expected. Everybody must be at the Jimmy Johns next door. Their loss. Had the HH version of slider burgers and they were GREAT!!! I mean really really great! Best burger Ive had in a while and I dont generally like sliders. Service was fine and the staff friendly. Ill be back tomorrow with the fam. Theres also some very tasty specials posted on the wall diners should note. Maybe I should rate this place poorly so I can insure Ill get a seat if word leaks out! Seriously, Ill make the effort to return often.

The food was what I expected for slider burgers. Im not an onion person so this is a non-grilled onions opinion. As such, I felt the the burger to bun ratio was off. The fries were as good as they get. Atmosphere was awesome. Staff. FANTASTIC! They even turned down or skipped inappropriate songs because I had my son with me. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and treated like family. I would definitely stop in if you like a quick meal, in a great atmosphere with a heaping side of home town friendliness.

burgers are great. Ordered online and pickup said 12:02. got there around 12:10 and burgers were not even on the grill. Went back out to my car for 20 minutes and still werent done! When cashing out, I asked if it normally takes this long? The answer i got was "Just because you ordered online doesnt make you a VIP customer." I like the burgers but the kid was extremely rude and not worth the wait. DONT go on your lunch break.

Best kept burger secret in michigan! No weird ingredients or toppings- just the BEST, FRESH , slider-style hamburgers you will ever eat !I get them "plain" with cheese- only, but grilled onions are normally on these. 1 or 2 bites, and YOU WILL "GET IT" ! Also, great little skinny, golden, hot, fresh fries. Real ice cream milkshakes. If you are after TASTE, Hunter House is ALWAYS worth the trip!!

Will never go here again. Very rude employees and after waiting for almost an hour decided to leave after multiple people cutting in front of me and employees basically saying they didnt care. Decided to leave and go next door for pizza. I dont care how good this place is the horrible service supercedes any food they make here. I hope this place goes out of business.

Food is good, high quality, very friendly staff. Its a bit on the high side for price (~$8 for the double cheese burger, large fry and a fountain drink) but it tastes darn good. Its why I always come back. Not a huge portion, they are sliders after all, but they are the right size for me. They do a lot of specials through the Hooked app, which is pretty cool too.
