Our family has been going to this place since I entered college in 1998....used to be a great place, but this last year has been very, very disappointing. We had a horrible experience with finding the salad bar very dirty (actual dirt in the salad itself....and when we brought it to the attention of the manager, didnt seem concerned...so we didnt go back for a while. My parents really wanted to try it again, so we did, and it was again disappointing. 1) no lights were on in the dark parking lot (had a hard time getting my mother up the dark stairs without falling), 2) there were open ceiling tiles with liquid draining onto the serving area floor, and they put in place funny rules about what you could order and what you could take home on entrees.....so dont plan on taking 1/2 your entree home as a method of watching your weight/portion control if you also got the salad bar, because they are so concerned about patrons in the hotel taking food out to eat later (keep in mind, these are probably patrons in town because of a family member in the hospital)...and the manager was really rude to my hard-of-hearing mother at the salad bar explaining this. Geez, so were never going back....were customers since 1998, and never going back....their loss.

I would never eat a big boys again after going there. I didnt spend a penny. I took a look at what they served me n dam near puked. It stink like old garbage when u walk in, ants on the floor n food on the floor. They serve u cold leftovers. n also there is sometimes hair in ur food n also dirty bowls n the salad bar. Bad waitressing n management. The manager didnt look like he cared what was going on. Wouldnt surprise me if the health department shut them down tomorrow. i would rather eat a something on fear factor n pay for it outta my pocket then eat there. Never big boys for me again. Had a few familys walk out with us because of the disgusting food n food prep n dirty dishes. I wouldnt eat there if i was homeless n starving. I should of took a pic n posted it on facebook. Yuke, nasty, they all should look for new jobs very soon.

I hadnt been to a Big Boy restaurant in quite a long time. My wife wanted to try one, so we stopped here. Not a bad choice. The outside is quite nicely decorated. The inside was a little dated, but not bad. Overall, it was a nice space. The service was excellent. I overheard several of the waitstaff greeting customers by name, which I took as a sign that there are many who dine here often. The food as OK, but not as good as I remember. We both had an original Big Boy burger. It was good, but rather small. The fries accompanying the burger were OK. Nothing to shout about, though. I had coconut cream pie for dessert. That was quite tasty. Overall, a good experience with excellent service. I may come back and try a breakfast. The food on the buffet looked pretty good.

Service was ok. Waitress seemed bothered by having a job to do that day. Food was as good as Big Boy can be. But I think they should take Liam off the register and move him to the back as a cook or prep cook. He was not very personable. Didnt say one word to us as we were checking out. Didnt ask how everything was. Didnt tell me the total of the bill, didnt say thank you when I handed him the money, didnt say thank you have a nice day as we were leaving...maybe he is mute...I dont know, but even a smile wouldve went a long way with this kid. Maybe this is why we dont really frequent the Big Boy anymore.

We stayed at the red roof on may 6th and this motel has a deal with this breakfast place call Big Boy and they pay for it. When we were there to get our breakfast they treat us like theyre given us free breakfast with very cheap stuff. Menager (very old and bold guy) was very rude and said if you dont like what you got dont come back again..Red roof must talk to this guy otherwise they will lose a lot of customers

I really enjoyed everything about the visit I made to Big Boys; Joe, one of the managers/owners is very present, personable and makes sure everything is going well. The wait people are friendly, on top of service needs and professional. The meals are there is a reasonable amount of time and delicious. This is one of my regular places to stop and eat!

My husband stayed at the ajoining red roof inn. He received coupons for a discount for breakfast. He had five coupons. He threw four of them away. He spoke with the owner in person. The bathrooms so dirty he threw up. Food is nasty! Staff is friendly. Feel sorry for them ignorant owner.

Good salad bar, however the staff is very rude and the owner Joe will.kick you out of the restraint and take your food off the table if you say that person looks dirty or complain to him at all about the Fruit Flys. Just like all other big boys this one wont be around much longer.

To start off my pancakes had hairs on them. They made my order and sons order wrong. They took the eggs off his plate and put them on mine added a cold sausage patty to my plate. The restroom was a nightmare and the bill she gave me was covered in gravy

Monday morning around 8am. Ordered the breakfast buffet for $8.99, everything was hot and service was polite. Wanted something fast but not a drive-thru and it was perfect. Glad too see Big Boy is surviving on Plymouth Rd. Good for them!!!

Decent place to eat. The restaurant is very clean. The food is diner food, if you know what I mean. I would recommend this place as a family style, moderately priced restaurant.

Flowers outside are amazing. Mostly clean looking, but quite a few fruit flies around the salad bar. Nice staff. Kitchen was a bit slow for not many people in the restaurant.
