Bubbling Brook is a classic, small town ice cream bar in a beautiful area. I have been going to Bubbling Brook since I was a kid, and I have lots of good memories there. If you are a coach, this is a great place to bring your team after a big win (or loss) to polish off the night leaving everyone in good mood. The restaurant has excellent food, but the prices (to me) are very high, I do however recommend trying the restaurant at least once, so you can be your own judge because many people do feel that the food is worth the money. I personally prefer to eat elsewhere and come to Bubbling Brook after for an ice cream or frappe. I love to go with my girlfriend as we have done for many years and will continue to for many years to come. There is a beautiful, well-groomed lawn with plenty of picnic tables set up for your family to sit and enjoy their ice cream and still plenty of space for the kids to spend the last of their energy running around before going home! There is a certain air that you cant find anywhere else, the way they have the property set up is great! Many people come with family, friends, a date, and even co-workers, the environment can literally satisfy anyone in any situation, even if you come alone. Parking can sometimes be an issue on very busy nights, but most people just park on the street when the lot is full and there is no issue, you wont be far from the building even if you need to park on the street. A good tip, if the lot does turn out to be full, drop someone off to get in line while someone else parks the car. There is usually a line, but it tends to move along pretty good thanks to all the servers. Also helpful is the way the walk-up windows are set up; on the right, there are a couple of windows serving ONLY soft serve, and on the left, a couple windows for ONLY regular ice cream. (Dont get in the wrong line!) Ice cream is not served inside, so dont think you will beat the line by going in, they will NOT serve you ice cream inside! Waiting in line here is part of the Bubbling Brook experience, it gives you a chance to socialize or even just to scan the long list of flavors and decide what you want, it really isnt one of those annoying long lines that seems to not move, you wont be disappointed! I highly recommend Bubbling Brook to anyone, of any age, and for any occasion for an awesome selection of ice cream and a perfect atmosphere! One last tip, dont forget cash! They dont take any other method of payment! ENJOY!

Horrible service... VERY rude (seasoned) waitress... They refused to let us sit down inside if we were "only ordering drinks & ice cream". I was with my Elderly Father & they said "no exceptions". Used to go there for Many Years with friends & family... They lost ALL of our business... What a Shame !!! ... Hope it was worth it for us to Never refer anyone there again & to lose A Lot of business. When did accommodating the customer & common courtesy fall to the Bottom of their priority list? Very Sad...

We are another family that for many years has been frequenting this simple, clean restaurant, where the food is its own best advertising. The meals are consistently delicious. One of us loves the clams, another the meat loaf. The daily specials are such a great deal! Bubbling Brook, nestled at a crossroads between woods and pastures, is closed in the winter, and the day it reopens in March is an occasion to smile.

Woah I have to say I am blown away by the service here. My son makes ridiculous requests for his ice cream and I always tell him not to get it. But this tall ginger boy told my boy he could have anything he wanted and served him up. I never learned that boys name but I wish I had. After reflecting on it he probably deserved a tip. Next time Im around he will be given a large tip.

Always a great place for a good quality ice cream. Line moves fast even if your see 20 people waiting. Cash only but they have an ATM inside.. picnic tables outside to enjoy your ice cream and parking down the road if lot is fill. Hours for ice cream are till 9. Food stops at 8

Very clean and owned by wonderful folks. Family oriented. Great food (especially the Juan burgers and Brian BLTs). Excellent and friendly service. Offers multiple flavors of ice cream. An all around great place for a delicious lunch or dinner that is reasonably priced.

Great place for ice cream or soft-serve in season. Often really hard to get a parking space in warm weather, its packed. The lines are pretty quick. They also serve hot dogs, burgers and fried food food inside and for take-out, that closes a bit earlier.

Classic neighborhood ice cream counter. Ice cream is great and options like different flavor dipped shells for soft serve plus free jimmies/sprinkles for "hard serve" (real ice cream) make it even better. Stop by if youre in the area!

Really enjoyable outdoor summer casual dining! You could eat inside, but why would you? Fried clams, burgers, dogs, cole slaw, ice cream (soft and hard), and even lactose free soft serve!

Came here in the summer, the staff was very disrespectful and breathing down our necks the entire meal. Our waitress literally asked us if we were going to leave a tip!? Outrageous.

Came back to my childhood after living in other states for many years and it was just as amazing as when I was a kid, though the brook seems a little smaller now that Ive grown up.

LOVE the brook. Such a great hangout. Yummy ice cream and outdoor seating or a quick meal inside. Beware - on a beautiful day or after a big game, can be very crowded.

Fake Ice Tea made from powder and expensive cheap ice cream! Try Abbotts in Needham..at least the ice cream is real and not made with stabilizers...

Turkey BLT was great. It was enough to share between 2 for a light afternoon lunch. Lovely picnic area at the back. Fast friendly staff.

Good ice cream in both soft and hard serve options. Tastes like real ice cream with good serving sizes. You will not be disappointed.

Had not been here since 1972 when I was 8 years old. It was very much worth driving all the way for. Awesome food with awesome prices.

The ice cream is always great. Soft serve here is one of the best Ive had. The line is always long but always moves very quickly.
