Solid five stars for this wonderful Middle Eastern grocery. We used to drive two hours to get to this place, and now I live nearly around the corner which is terrible for any diet plans, or savings plans I may have. Sevan has almost everything you need for your pantry – spices, preserves, grains, bulk dry goods, middle eastern pudding mixes. They have fresh middle eastern veg, an olive bar, fresh bread, and things like sour cherry juice you cant find anywhere else. They have bulk white cheese (feta), and cured meats (pastirma). Their frozen section also has hard to find things like lahmacun, and manti (baby turkish ravioli), frozen okra, etc. They have Turkish beer - Efes! Great prepared foods - pick up some grape leaves, and some awesome Kazandibi pudding, and youll be in heaven. For the uninitiated, fear not - ask for advice, and youll get some great suggestions. (Even from other customers).

I have been shopping from Sevan Market for 2 years. They always have fresh and good quality foods. Especially if you are looking for any Turkish food brands, Sevan is the place where you need to go in Boston. You can find any Turkish cheese, olives, soujuk, jam, olive oil etc. Baklava and Grape leaves are my two favorites. Also, the staff is very friendly and willing to help you to find the food that you need.

I really like Sevans. My sig other is Armenian, so obviously little Armenia is a place we visit. Sevan has awesome humus and tabbouleh. Grape Leaves are solid and the Spinach cheese pies are nice too. Fresh pita bread and a store full of Armenian goodies, no complaints here. Best of all the owners are all great people and remember us - the personal touch is an extra bonus.

Sevan, or Massis down the street? Why not both? Massis is my go to place for lamejuns, but Sevan is the place for spices and produce and prepared foods like tabouleh and kibbe Oh and Sevan has the famous olive bar. Either youre going, "So whats the big deal?" Or youre going "OMG! Olive bar!!!" If youre in the second camp you should definitely go

This middle-eastern market is known for their grapeleaves, baklava, lamajune and amazing dips (babaganoush, mouhamara, feta whip, hummos...) along with their AMAZING selection of wines from all over (Armenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy...). Sevan is truly the gem of Watertown.

Coming from Turkey, I can say that the Sevans Bakery has the best quality of authentic products in the New England. Their baklava is the closest one Ive ever tasted to the Turkish baklava. Packaged goods and homemade pastries and dairy products are amazing as well.

Great little Armenian bakery and food store. Decent selection of fresh produce. Great bar of nuts and dried fruits, awesome feta cheese, and a large selection of spreads salads and baked goods for anyone that likes Mediterranean foods.

In Watertown I feel like people choose one of the Armenian Markets and call it "theirs" Sevan is not my market. I try to avoid coming in here - I have never found as friendly or well lit as Arax and its a bit cramped for my style.
