I cannot say enough good things about Cakes by Design! This is the third year that Ive ordered treats from there for my daughters spring birthdays. Over the years, Lina has made us 3 gorgeous (and delicious!) cakes, strawberry-shaped cake pops, decorated cookies, and delicious gluten-, dairy-, nut-free cupcakes for guests with allergies. This years cake was a 2-tier Rainbow My Little Pony Cake that took my breath away--I couldnt help but hug Lina, the owner, when I picked it up! It was beautiful; she is truly an artist. My daughter loved it, and party guests kept asking me where I got this amazing cake. The ordering experience was great too. Lina responded to my phone call the same day I left my initial voicemail. I emailed her some images that had inspired me and she invited me into the shop to discuss. She gave me many different suggestions and options, and even offered a cake-topper option that lowered the price considerably. Cakes by Design Edible Art has earned my repeat business, as we will definitely order from them again!

I recently ordered a cake from Cakes By Design Edible Art for my sisters 50th birthday party. When I first called the shop I wasnt exactly sure what cake design I wanted, but the owner, Lina, was so terrific to work with. She was so patient and offered her expert advice, leaving me feeling confident in the final design I decided on. On the day of the party, I walked into the shop to pick up the cake, and I was absolutely astonished by the amazing work of art sitting on the counter. The cake was truly spectacular. I was in awe over the intricate detail and pure perfection. Not only was it jaw dropping to look at, it was also so moist and delicious. Lina and her staff are top notch. Everyone at the party raved about how beautiful the cake was and asked where I got it. I started recommending this bakery the day of the party and will continue to highly recommend them to everyone I know. I cant say enough about how truly spectacular this bakery is. I needed a chihuahua cake on very short notice, it was right before the fourth of July weekend and everyone I called was completely booked. I had almost given up when I made the final call to cakes by design. The woman in charge was so amazing! Incredibly friendly and got started right away! Not only was the cake ready by the time I needed it, but it exceeded my expectations in every way! My boyfriend (whom I bought the cake for) loved it so much he still raves about it! Anytime I need a specialty cake I know who I will be calling!

Some time ago I ordered a Salvador Dali-inspired cake. The result was amazing! Lina is, herself, an artist, only her medium is cake! Absolutely amazing work!. People who saw the cake couldnt believe it. And in addition, Lina is so patient in trying to understand the clients concept and idea. When it came time for me to pick up the cake, she waited patiently, as I was encountering traffic delays. I will definitely use her companys services again. I hope one day, Cakes By Design adds a delivery service to its suite.

I absolutely love this place! I have 8 birthdays a year, and I come here everytime! Each and every cake she makes is just beautiful and delicious! The owner and staff are amazing! They are really dedicated to what they do, are really creative, and really put their hearts into each and every cake they make, even the Red Velvet cupcakes my husband loves so much! I highly reccomend this cake shop to anyone who wants to make a specially designed cake for any special occasion!

I was setting up a sweet 16 party for my daughter and I went to a few bakeries with her to try to find the perfect cake that she wanted. I have been to many cake places and after discovering Cakes by Design Edible Art for my sister-in-laws bridal shower, I cannot ever imagine going somewhere else.
