Where do I start. We arrived at 8pm on a Friday night, walking in we were carded despite their being 6 year old children running around the restaurant screaming "Donkey Kong" I thought I had walked into a Chuckie Cheese despite this establishment being advertised as an "Adults and Arcade Games" kind of place a la Dave and Busters. The restaurant itself must have had a hole dug behind the bar which tunneled directly to the center of the earth, and past the gates of hell because this place is hotter than a concentration camp crematorium in the summer time. My girlfriend ordered the Shrimp Tacos which consisted of poorly flavored shrimp half cooked and placed upon the crumbs that you find at the bottom of a Tostidos bag before you throw in it into the trash. I ordered the elk burger. Which came on a soggy donuts (Yes you read that correctly) that I can only believe was picked up under the drive through window of the local Dunkin donuts after it was dropped going from server to customer. Despite this place trying to be hip and cool, the actually bones of the operation (Food) is lacking on almost every level. The previous residents (This place used to be a prison) were most definitely fed far better then the current business customers. We ordered a corn dog, which was passable. But how can you mess up a corndog. If you consider a 25% score passing then fine be my guest and go here. The other appetizer we ordered was the chicken wings. They had no salt, and no flavor. They were like the wing dings you can order at Papa Ginos, only less adventurous. I havent even mentioned the price tag. For a burger, an appetizer, a corn dog, and tacos (By their definition not mine) the meal with tip came to around 55 dollars. Neither me or my girlfriend drink, so their was no alcohol bringing up the tab. But after attending this restaurant, this experience may drive me to do so in the future. I felt like I was being bent over one of their small, poorly constructed, cramped rocking tables and shown the 50 states once I saw the bill. The only thing preventing this restaurant from being zero stars, was me being able to play the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Arcade game.

My boyfriend and I were drawn to the bar based on the menu. But dont be fooled, everything is terrible and over-priced coupled with the fact that you feel like youre in a Chuck E. Cheese. First, we arrived a little after 8 pm and were carded at the door despite the fact that there were children running around. A bar with this kind of concept is meant to make you feel like a kid again, not for you to be surrounded by kids. I asked the waiter if there was a cut-off for anyone 20 and under, and he said 8 pm. Clearly this is not the case. We ordered chicken wings, a corn dog, shrimp tacos, and the elk burger. The chicken wings were over cooked and lacked flavor to a point where we had to check the menu to remember what flavor we ordered. The corn dog was nothing exciting and was paired with a pickled cole slaw that I couldnt spit out fast enough. My shrimp "tacos" were essentially shrimp mixed in Chinese duck sauce served on a crushed bag of tortilla chips and saltless guac. Ive had ripe avocados that have had more flavor than that guac. My boyfriends elk burger had zero seasoning and was paired with soggy fries. We dont drink, so I have no idea if the bar is as bad as the kitchen. As if the food wasnt bad enough, the venue was hot as hell despite high ceilings and children kept knocking into our table and chairs. We took our entrees to-go because we couldnt get out of there fast enough, but wish we had seen the light after our appetizers and left.

My boyfriend and I just stopped by to check out this place after reading about it through various news sources. Ive always been an adventurous one with food, and the menu seemed to be a fresh spin on standard pub fare. Based on what I read in previous reviews, they have apparently taken many of the recommendations to help smooth out the bumps in service. We were greeted by the Hostess and rapidly seated at the long table through the center of the room. We were probably greeted by our server, Robbie, who promptly took our order. The food came very quickly--a chorizo corn dog and some spring rolls. I honestly dont think we have very much of an opportunity until fully taking the game offerings and atmosphere--the food came that quickly! I was fully impressed even with the side dish of the jicama slaw. The poptart cake balls were sweet, but not too sweet. The drinks or a nice blend of flavors and were not overpowering. (I got a Princess Peach and an Ecto... something.) Prices were a little steeper than what I would have anticipated, but it was very understandable when you take into account that many of their ingredients are locally sourced. $10 in quarters lasted both myself and my boyfriend plenty of time on the arcade games. I certainly wish this place the best of luck, and can assure we will return in the near future. I certainly hope an expansion is in future plans. ;)

I came out here a month or so ago with some friends to watch the Super Mario Brothers movie (which is awesomely bad). I had inquired earlier if captions or subtitles would be available and got a quick response saying that they would make sure they were on. As a person with a hearing loss, I really appreciated this! I did brace myself for the possibility that stuff might not work, or maybe someone might forget to set them up as this has been the norm in other situations/businesses in my experience. Much to my amazement and amusement, both subtitles AND captions came on as the movie started playing. Just as I was about to get up to offer assistance, whoever was manning the movie tech quickly rectified the situation and my friends and I all enjoyed watching a classic terrible movie with just one set of subtitles turned on and playing arcade games this evening. It was wonderful to experience a business knowing what subtitles and captions were and to be so willing to accomodate my request for them. Everyone was very professional and warm, and we had great service all night! 10/10 would do again. And shall! Thank you again for a wonderful evening <3

I love the arcade/bar combo idea, and overall we had a fun time here. Great food! However, our server asked us to close out our check so suddenly we missed out on ordering the desserts we had all planned for. (Apparently the kitchen closes early -- which would be REALLY nice to see with the hours on the website, considering we planned our trip based on that...) Some fun games, and some duds. It seemed half of the game cabinets were just there to fill up space. Im betting that most visitors with a cup full of tokens on a Saturday night will end up trying out a bunch of unappealing games just for lack of options, due to all the popular games being constantly claimed. In particular I wish there were more pinball machines, because there was a constant line for them, but I can see how space is a limiting factor there. They would have to remove other games to make room for it. Overall, definitely worth visiting at least once, especially if youre looking for a unique dinner and drink.
