Updated Review (3/27/16): Since my review things have drastically changed here and not for the better. Butter used to be made, now its prepackaged pats. Eggs used to taste fresh now they just dont. The whole place smells and needs a good scrubbing. Servers should not be standing in front of the entrance smoking. The attitude in general is just plain sad. Skip it. Go to McKays for a better experience and better food. -------------------------- This place has become our new favourite breakfast spot. The staff is friendly, there is a ton of space and even on this past Mothers Day, there was no wait for a table and the food came out fast and hot! Will have to come back for lunch or dinner.

This place has seen 3 owners so far and this one has stuck; there is many reasons why the main one is that breakfast has never been so good in our neighborhood. Whatever you get on the menu will not disappoint you. I highly recommend the traditional Irish breakfast or if you are looking for a fulfilling breakfast leaving you in a near coma try the hungry Irish. There is also a bar but Ive never drank there socially so I cant really say much for it. But the food is something I would always return for.

restaurant was empty, we were the only 3 people there, but the service was terrible. Food was literally inedible, except for the salad and (desert which we ordered because we were hungry) 2 of us had fish and chips - the fish was disgusting. The other person had pork and chicken on a skewer. The meats were so dry it was like trying to eat sawdust. mashed potatoes were loaded down w/pepper. What a waste of money. I would not eat there again if they were giving the food away.

Found this place as I was looking for a small breakfast spot nearby and my expectations were blown through the roof! The food was cooked to the my specifications (as complicated as they were), whomever the chef was needs to have their face plastered out front. The bartender was a delight, made our drinks perfectly and I will be travelling another 2 hours to come here again!

If you want a breakfast place with off-street parking and no wait, you should stop on by to Granite Street Cafe. Great variety of breakfast options that come out quickly and hot. For those of you who want a simple breakfast, this place still offers your standard eggs, toast, and hash browns for about $2.50. My safety breakfast restaurant when all else fails!

Edited review: Basically the same as the other edited reviews here. It defiantly smells. The service is below 0. Its also impossible to order take-out officially. I have to move on unfortunately. this place rocks! I live down the street and would gladely get take out or eat in here over any other restaurant anyday!

Fox news on the TV, the only interracial couple at the whole place. We got terrible food.. while everyone around was getting nice Fluffy eggs and good bacon and everything -we got dry, overcooked eggs and bacon and everything. All our stuff was bad. And they didnt care when we complained.

I also had a hair in my food. We had the Irish Breakfast which was yummy because all the sausages had MSG in them. We spent the rest of the regretting that. The hair was in the potatoes. Nothing special about the place really. The breakfast we had at the Early American was better.

The food is actually really good but one of the waitresses is terrible. Youre lucky if she remembers to put your order in within 15 minutes of you ordering. You can be the only costumers there and she will still just not put your order in. And shes always there. But the food is good.

Steak tips with a side of hair. Side salad with a side of dirt. If you like your side salad unwashed or if you like cutting into your steak tips and seeing a long strand of hair, come to the Granite Street Cafe. Walked out without eating a bite.

Very clean and comfortable. Our waitress was very nice. Got the Hash special. Very tasty. Just a little too salty. Another table ordered the Texas French toast amd it looked amazing. Going to have to go back and try that. Great coffee.

Breakfast here is nothing special but the price is good. It also offers more seating than most breakfast places in Quincy and has a parking lot. Staff is very nice too and they serve a hearty Irish breakfast option

Had a Portuguese Omelette (linguica, peppers and onions) and potatoes which was excellent. Coffee was great too, as was the service - fast and friendly. Quaint little cafe, highly recommend.
