I went in yesterday to grab coffee before work around 8 am. There were few people there. The barista (Male, 55", wearing glasses) acted as if he could not care less and moved slowly. This was extremely frustrating because like much of the world in the morning I am on my way to work and do not have time to wait around because an employee is taking his sweet time. The coffee was pretty good so I decided to give them another shot today. There were few customers again at 8 am. A second barista was at the register and today I ordered a bagel with cream cheese. He was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the original barista was making food, again taking his sweet time, unhurried as if the world did not matter. I ended up walking out to catch my train. I find it ironic that a coffee shop with a train timer next to the register would operate so slowly.

My favorite coffee shop in the area. It has a cozy, homey interior with paint and writing all over the walls, friendly staff, and comfy chairs and benches to sit on. The food here is the cheapest you can get at a coffee shop, but still delicious and fresh. A bagel with egg, cheese, and add-ons is only a few dollars, and its perfect once you add on their delicious coffee. They also have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options, including almond milk for your drink, sandwiches, and muffins. There is free Wi-Fi, plenty of places to charge your phone, and a lot of seating. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Ive sat here for hours before to concentrate on my work. Ill be back for more! :)

A very quaint, & eccentric looking coffee shop! The owner works behind the counter ( very friendly African American man) and is very accommodating by making your food or coffee just the way you enjoy. An example, I wanted just a plate of sliced avacados, although not on the menu, the owner whipped the avocados into a smoothie! The Store is very popular with the college crowd. The Expresso is made from scratch, unlike Starbucks that utilizes a machine. Check this place out! The store also serves breakfast & lunch types sandwiches Made to order unlike Starbucks.

We came in early on a Sunday morning, so there was only one employee (the proprietor?) running everything. Both the brewed coffee and latte were great, and the breakfast egg sandwiches are made fresh to order. You might have to wait a bit longer than your average corporate coffee shop, but it is well worth it.

Awesome atmosphere. Really great place to study and read. Had a bagel and hummus and it was so great. My friends both got the chai tea latte and they said they thought it was amazing. The owner even told us that they roast their own chai tea. Really great costumer service! We will definitely be back :)

Another excellent joint to stop by for a quick cup of joe. Students get a discount when you present your school ID. Fun Fact: My friend Eli Portman painted the mural on the ceiling--check it out and more of his work on social media! + They have jazz nights on Fridays!

unwelcoming, snooty. Even though I was buying something they kicked me out because I had a coffee from another place. Thats what you get for supporting multiple local businesses I guess. Wont be going there again, the owner didnt want my business, so he wont get it.

Although I wish they had more syrup flavors, the coffee is high quality and the staff is very personable and involved. They have a great record player for atmosphere, and the sandwiches are amazing! A great neighborhood shop.

Colorful and funky cafe with very welcoming staff. Owner gave me a discount on my almond mocha latte because they ran out of chai. Located right outside Mass Ave T Station so it seems like a great place to meet or so work.

Great coffee and sandwiches, but pretty disorganized counter service. If you have the time, sit on the cushions by the window and enjoy food and coffee. If you have places to be, this might not be the spot for you.

By far my favourite coffee shop in Massachusetts - and there are some pretty good coffee shops here. Good prices, excellent internet, excellent coffee and food, fast internet, wonderful atmosphere and funky music.

It was a nice place to meet people to share similar interest. Most were immigrants and very friendly. Its easy to get to even if you dont have a car. I will recommend it to others. We need more places like that.

Quirky, off the beaten path, and usually not much of a line between you and cause-conscious coffee. This quirky character lends itself to uneven service, but hey unlimited wifi and random printer.

Incredible pre-boiled bagels, real eggs, open late, great coffee, atmosphere, and run a very chill guy who seems committed to ensuring a great experience for his customers at the place he built.

Obnoxiously loud music, unfriendly barista, and old, flavorless coffee. At least theres a good deal of natural light in the cafe. The superior Render Coffee is just a short walk away.

This is an extremely friendly, casual, attractive yet reasonably-priced place with excellent coffee, sandwiches, baked goods and more. A great addition to the neighborhood!

What a delightful place. Fantastic avocado egg sandwich, warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the best cold brew in the city.

The food is good but they run out of things they definitely shouldnt like plain bagels and iced coffee. Service is okay.

Small and cozy coffee shop. Much preferred over the chains like Starbucks and Pavement that are everywhere in Boston.
