Tried to go for breakfast this morning. It was 8:55am, they were not open and the lady at the counter could have let us in, but didnt....so we ended up at Dons Diner. I have only been there once before because the hours for breakfast are too late. Dons Diner is one block away from them and opens at 6am. Rooster opens at 9am. Real roosters are up at 5am!! Food was good, but way, way too slow with service. This was when they first opened so I would expect that they would have improved, but wouldnt know since I like to eat breakfast earlier than they want to get up and work. If they want their business to be successful they need to open by 7am, open on Monday especially since Dons Diner is not open on Monday, that is a no-brianer!! There are at least five breakfast places in a 2 mile radius of the Rooster, all open early!

If I could review it twice I would. The GF my wife ordered was great. No weird texture problems she usually has with GF flour. My young girls and I also enjoyed our breakfast. I would give it an easy 5 stars if it wasnt for the service. Sunday morning, 8:30, there were three servers and two tables. Two people in the coffee lounge. We received NO attention from the wait staff. I had to go to the counter to get the attention of a server to get a coffee refill, then again to get another refill, then again to get my bill. I have no idea what the three servers were doing the whole time. They were never in the dining room. Because of the service I would never go there again if it wasnt for the GF menu.

I heard this had vegan and vegetarian options as well as gluten free. My mom is gluten free and eats meat and she had a fine time getting something. I, on the other hand, vegan had a bagel and some canned fruit. Awful. The food was semi homemade and I could have made it myself. It was a cute place and the service was okay but we will not be going back.

I adore the food and staff here. Lots of delicious choices on regular menu for gluten-free and gluten-eating diners, plus an ever-changing list of specials and baked goods. My only gripe is the speed. Its very slow for our regular party of six with four gluten-free folks. We only go there when we have the luxury of leisurely dining.

Love this place! Its a nice local diner with a great menu. They also have a full gluten free menu, it offers pretty much everything on the normal menu, just slightly modified. Very relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff. As of early March 2016, they are expanding as well (it was a bit small inside).

Great little cafe serving gluten-free and other allergen sensitive goodies. Everything is homemade and everything is delicious, especially their muffins! The spot has a homey feel and the staff are quite friendly.

Purple Rooster is the only place for gluten free breakfast. Dedicated kitchen, delicious gf pancakes, they even had a gf smores french toast special. If you are gluten free this is the place to get breakfast.
