some friends of ours from NA had us meet them here for the first time. had a very good time until the end. with a party of four, my wife ordered a steak and it was fatty and tough. she told the waitress who was apologetic and nice and took it back. i think she brought the same piece back only hotter.. i took a bite and it was chewy as all hell, and we are not picky people. the waitress told us we could have a desert for free to make up for it and we told her no thanks, we were full. after she left we decided why not, we will take one home. so we paid the bill and ordered a strawberry shortcake to go, then we waited, and waited , and waited. three of our party went out to the parking lot to smoke it took so long. finally i approached the greeter and said where is our desert ? she said it will be here in a minute and gave me a bill for the desert . i asked about the complimentary desert for the bad steak and she took the bill back, and said to forget it. i told her to keep it and walked out. the bad part of first impressions is you only get one chance to make one

Seriously? How did this place ever get 4.5 stars? We ordered a chicken shish kabob and a beef shish kabob, a side of steamed veggies and rice pilaf. To say "the meat was bland" is a serious understatement...I mean, it tasted like someone grabbed a piece of meat, gave it some heat, added 5 slices of thinly cut onions and called it a shish kabob. The best part of the meal was the steamed veggies, and the salad. Oh, forgot to mention, the pita bread gets delivered to your table inside a PLASTIC BAG. If youve ever been to Costco or BJs, youll spot them in the bread section. Spent $39 for two entrees (dinner menu) and for the quality, I feel ripped off. @Shadis...add some flavor to your meals. The waitress couldve been nicer, but I guess it come with the restaurant. Dont waste your money. I bet youre a better cook!!!

Based on the recommendation of an acquaintance, I decided to take my family here for a belated Valentines day dinner. The food that we got flavorless and bland. A strange aspect was the store bought pita bread being served in the original plastic bag. When I received my appetizer order of Hommus (one of the few dishes that was good!), our server just tossed a second bag obread on top of the previous. I might go back there for the bar, they are less than a 1/4 mile away, but I wouldnt bother for their food.

Been going there sense there old building in Methuen that burn down....food is always fantastic, everytime I take someone new They all want to return and enjoy the food. The meat hummus is fantastic.....great staff. My diabetic friends say its there favorite and testing there blood after is right on.....my friends with heart issues say its a highly trusted place to eat...

I am Arabic, and my grandmother, mother and aunts all make outstanding Lebanese food. Shadis is one of the few places that I go when I want to eat authentic Lebanese food. Great place for a drink and an app or for a complete meal. My personal favorite is the kibbee nayee (raw kibbee), which is only available on Friday and Saturday.

Excellent service and food. Try the tabouli and hummus...delicious and healthy. By the way, the bread is great and from a local Lebanese bakery. The plastic bags are to keep the bread fresh and to prevent them from drying out. I have had everything on the menu...all wonderful and freshly made to order.

When I visit boston I always plan to eat at shadis restaurent. He has the most delicious lebanese food with no exception the service is fast, the stuff is friendly, you feel yourself at home.This restaurent is one of the best restaurent in new england

Arrived at 7:10 on a Friday night. Was seated and order by 7:30. I had house salad Baked Haddock and rice, cook to flakey perfection. Nother in my party had the Black Angus burger. I was also delicious an cooked to his liking

We have eaten in many Middle Eastern resteraunts and Shadis rates among the best. The service was excellent over the entire 3 hours we enjoyed food and friends. Wish I lived closer but will make the trip when ever possible.

Love, love, love it here. Great food, great atmosphere, always great service. Bread is always fresh and the kibbie is excellent. You can order anything on the menu and be extremely satisfied with your meal.
