Have always gone to Erikssons ice cream but this will be the last time. Got two shakes, one was half full and paid $5.00 and one was flowing over and lid was busted. When I asked the server why the cup was half full she responded with "what do you want me to do make another?" Server didnt even clean up the cup. I then ordered a mint chocolate chip in a cup and I got chocolate ice cream. I told the server that she got the wrong ice and cream and she then came over with the wrong kind again. It was half full and leaking. Drive over 1/2 an hour to get to Erikssons but I will never go again they lost my business along with my family and friends.

Eriksons is possibly the best ice cream place in Massachusetts. The ice cream is fantastic, but its made even better by the rustic charm. You pull into the dirt parking lot, and youre transported back thirty years. For me, its a huge hit of nostalgia. There are always dozens of little kids, just come from a soccer or baseball game; local high schoolers meeting up with friends; and parents and grandparents bringing their kids for some fantastic ice cream. I highly recommend getting a sundae, and sharing with a friend (or dont. Share, I mean. Do get a sundae). Fair warning: cash only.

Grew up loving this place and still do. I think the frappes have gotten way smaller over the years. Like half the size even. Even if that is in my head is still significantly smaller than other ice cream places and diners nearby. The regular ice cream is decently priced and medium portions. Id go with larger sizes if you dont want your kids to clamor for more. The ice cream itself is delicious but those stingy frappes make me have to give it 3/5 stars. Bigger frappes please!

This is my 24th summer going to Eriksons and its still the best ice cream around. Servings are large but not unreasonable to the point that you feel sick from eating it. Wide variety of flavors and they add new flavors each year. Theres a reason the place has been around for 80+ years.

What can I say. Its the quintessical ice cream stand surrounded by a parking lot. Delicious ice cream with plenty of choices (hard ice cream as well as soft), service with a smile, picnic tables next to the greenery along the Assabet River. Only downside is that they only take cash.

Pistachio is not great, left with a kiddie half eaten and got a stomachache. Husbands ice cream was Walnut "fudge" it had no fudge, just gross chocolate ice cream and walnuts. And chunks of ice in it. Grocery store ice cream is better and we will not be going back.

Ice cream is great. The only improvements that they could make is around the outside, the parking lot is in rough shape and where they have the picnic tables could be nicer. Maybe a play structure for the kids?

Ericksons produces their ice cream right in their store. They have a vast array of flavors. The portions are generous. There is no indoor seating, so you may want to watch the weather or way in your car!

Old fashioned ice cream stand. All the ice cream is made on site. This is only ice cream stand that I will go to. Tip: If you go there after sundown make sure to wear bug spray.

Delicious icecream and good portion size and not overly sweet. Just right. The best is the Almond Joy icecream. Usually they run out by August of this flavor.
