Order Take Out The food was actually not bad, so I cant rate this a 1 star, but I dont know how I can I rate the worst service Ive ever experienced higher than 2. This location has about 3 tables and a full bar that seats about 12 people. There is only 1 person working the whole place. From start to finish, this was a hard meal to get through. - With our group being 3 people sitting at the bar, was asked to hold on after taking the first person ordered, then asked to hold on again after the second persons order (causing the order process for just 3 people to take about 5 minutes) - suggested specials that werent available (had to switch order) - brought us the wrong appetizer (we later found out it was someone elses entree ...... we ordered mussels with bread, we got mussels with shrimp and rice), and after pointing out that we got the wrong order, the waitress argued with us that we got what we wanted. After dropping it, we just asked for the bread that came with the appetizer we ordered (that we didnt get). - one of our guests received their entree way before the other 2 (we later found out, he was given someone elses entree ..... he asked for garlic shrimp with rice and beans, but received garlic shrimp with rice and veggies) - As far as other guests at the bar, we noticed she poured someones second glass as the wrong wine (the wine list only has 4 options) - As for the other table, they were all sorts of messed up (which we later found out was because she kept giving their entrees to us, and then when our orders were ready tried to drop them off at other tables, along with some guests just not getting what they asked for at all) - With many other guests being given the wrong orders, she had gone into the back and started arguing with the chefs as if it was their faults. - After our first guest finished their meal, our waitress asked if we were ready for the check. We had to inform her that 2 of the 3 people have still not received their entree. She went to the kitchen and brought back an entree (shrimp) and asked us if this was our order. After informing her that one of our guests ordered tacos, she ran and got those. Then after informing her I ordered pork chops, she informed me they just didnt make them. - After our second guest finished their meal, our waitress asked if we were ready for the check. I informed her that I still had not received my entree and she asked if I wanted it wrapped up. I tried to ask if it had been cooked and just needed to be wrapped up or if it still needed to be cooked. Before I could finish, she informed me she was going to take it off my bill. - Lastly, we received our bill. Even though the waitress informed us that she brought out the wrong appetizer (we ordered mussels with bread $10 and received someone elses entree of mussels with shrimp $18), she informed me she changed my bill to charge me more so I could be charged what I received and not what I ordered. On top of that, I was charged $2 for bread (which came with what I ordered, but not what I received). I was under the impression that with her comment "Ill just take it off the bill", she was going to take the entree that was not brought to me before the first guest finished their meal, or before the second guest finished their meal, off the bill, but since it had already been made, wrap it up to go. I was informed she cancelled it and I would not be receiving any meal. In short, we were given the wrong appetizer (and then charged double what we ordered). One of our guests received the wrong entree (and way before the other two guests, where he finished all of his entree before anyone else received theirs). The other guest received their entree and I was informed mine was just not made. Then by the time the second guest finished their entree, I was informed my entree was going to be taken off my bill and was then cancelled. I then received a bill for an entree I didnt order but was told was what I wanted. It wasnt.

I almost dont want to tell everyone how great Villatoro Restaurant & Cafe in Marlboro, MA is... kinda want to keep this gem for myself...I have been there during the breakfast and evening hours, and even brought a group of 24 for breakfast. Menu is in Spanish and English. Food: All menu items are available all day. Order dinner in the AM and breakfast in the evening. Order standard restaurant dishes or Guatemalan dishes. Meals are cooked to order. I have tried the Guatemalan Mole dinner, Steak Tips dinner, 2 scrambled eggs with bacon breakfast, Vegetable Ver-monte omelette (with olives - YUM!), and more. Some breakfasts served with black beans and tortillas (gluten-free, I believe), queso fresco, and platanos. Bottomless cup of coffee! Menu is on Facebook - Search for Villatoro Restaurant & Cafe. Service: Wait staff is friendly, competent, ready and able to offer a suggestion depending on your preferences. They are proactive in serving you what you want and never hide behind "its not on the menu." Environment: Its a place where everybody knows your name. Small, cozy, family-oriented. Several booths and counter seating. Bright and clean. One small clean bathroom. Plenty of parking. You must add Villatoros in Marlborough, MA to your list of preferred restaurants!

You got some serious from scratch home cooking going at this tiny little gem tucked away on a side street a couple blocks off rt 20. Dont let the unassuming exterior fool you, its cozy and clean inside. Plus, man does it smell like mom is making sunday dinner! My sunday brunch eggs beni latin style was over the top...slow cooked pork, fresh tomato, perfectly poached eggs on a big home made biscuit covered in just enough latin seasoned hollandaise was a killer variation of the classic. Since I couldnt finish it, i chose to score the last piece of tres leche bread pudding to go. I just finished it. Can you say YUM?! Staff couldnt have been nicer. Chef even popped out to ask if everything ok and solicit suggestion. I have one...more tres leche anything, maybe with coconut...lol. ill be back for sure. Top notch!

Absolutely loved this little place. Little diner that seats maybe 20 people. I got roped in to the burger special which turned out to be the same cost which what was on the menu. However, the burger was fantastic. Made from a mix of brisket and short rib meat it was a huge buger that had great flavor. My only complaint is that I wish I had made it past the special of the day to try the Peruvian dishes at the back of the menu. Being the place is so small I saw every meal they brought out of the kitchen and each one looked better than the last. If Im back in Marlborough again I will be going back.

I dont want to tell you but I have to With three tables and a dozen counter seats, this place wont seat too many. Weve gotten a table each time, but I dont expect it to last once word of the food gets out. This tiny diner place was taken over, refreshed and reopened and I couldnt be happier. The new family is doing things right. So far Ive only gone for (late) breakfasts, but the other patrons around me have raved about their dishes. I hard a hard time hearing them while I devoured the heaven on earth that are the hash browns. You absolutely must come here and try the food. Please save me a seat!
