FOOD POISONING: I hate to be this guy... I thought I found an awesome lunch option near campus. I was a repeat customer, until today... I got food poisoning from kofta over rice. Ive had this in the past and felt fine. Im not taking another chance. I did notice they over-cooked the kofta today. Im guessing for my "safety". They shouldve just said they didnt have any left, instead of running the risk of giving a customer food poisoning. I wouldnt even feed my dog old meat. I guess I was mistaken by believing the kofta was the "freshest" since they make it to order and its not sitting there like everything else. Im very disappointed. I hope the owners see this and address the issue. Side note: their hot sauce is delicious. But just keep this review in mind... Youll never see me there again.

This has to be one of, if not the best places to get a filling and delicious meal on campus. The food is amazing, the prices are fair for the portions you get, and its very quick to get. My personal favorite is the mix over rice, spicy which is very filling. The gyros are also great but kinda messy to eat. For those who want some more spice, ask for extra hot sauce and they will gladly add more. And for those who cant or just dont eat meat, they have falafel which is just awesome. I come here often and the workers are nice and seem to genuinely love to serve their customers. The food has yet to disappoint me and everyone else I know that has eaten here. I highly recommend this place to any UML student or anyone who is thinking about trying in the area who has yet to try it.

Ive never been one for food trucks and was uncertain when they started up in 2015, but Ive had only positive experiences getting food from Egyptian Grill. Ive had their Lamb over Rice the most often, and have always found it to be tender, flavorful, and delicious. This week the owner suggested I try the Kofta over Rice and, my goodness, that was absolutely fantastic - to those who have never had Kofta before, my initial impression was that its like tender and flavorful swedish-meatball sausages. Very economic pricing, very tasty food, very friendly service: I find it hard to justify eating anywhere else in the area.

Its finals week. Everyone wants just two things: This week to be over, and food, right here, right now. Im studying on North Campus(its almost 2AM), and I was hungry so I decided to try out the Egyptian Food Truck. $10 got me lamb over rice and a drink. I didnt know what to expect, but my meal is delicious, a great portion, and I was very happy to the truck open so late at night. I will definitely be going back. If you havent already, I highly suggest you get out there just off North Campus and pick up a dish!

Stopped here since I was craving falafel and a friend told me there was an awesome food truck near campus. I had a falafel sandwich (like a gyro, but filled with falafel), and the shrimp over rice....I can honestly say that that meal was easily within the top 5 best things Ive ever eaten!! The falafel was crunchy perfection, and the shrimp was sooo good!!!! Whatever marinade and sauce they use is absolutely incredible. Even the seasoned rice was delicious. Definitely going to make this a regular occurrence :)

The food is quick, cheap and delicious. While usually swarmed by University students, orders never take more than 10 or so minutes. The staff is friendly, and will remember you if you come often. My favorites are the falafel sandwich and the 5 way combo plate. The hot sauce is very good, but also very hot. Im very much a spicy food person, but if you dont think you are, ask for it on the side to try.

Hands down the best food in the Lowell/Boston area!! Sure its a food truck, but dont let that fool you. The wonderful boys in the truck have a passion for the food they serve and are very friendly. They have a great menu and all the foods have a awesome unique taste that will surely give u a taste of Arab food. Come and try it out for yourself and you wont be disappointed!

This place is by far the best. I eat here almost everyday! The chicken, lamb, kofta are all so delicious. Amazing customer service for when youre in a rush. Inexpensive food, but very high quality by its simplicity. These guys know how to make a delicious meal. They make every other place in the area look like trash. One of the few gems in Lowell !

Bad food preparation gave me food poisoning! Been going here for awhile but after yesterday Ill never come through again!!! About two hours after I ate from here I began having an upset stomach and vomiting. Explosive direahea every 2 hours as well. Its obvious that what I was served was poorly handled and contaminated.

I dont eat rice so I wasnt sure what to order, I asked for a double portion of lamb and they offered to put it over a side salad with all the options and both white and pepper sauce. The entire order must have weighed 2 lbs and it was delicious. Much better value than on campus and much healthier too.

I came back to The Egyptian Grille after about 8 months and the man working remembered my "regular" order after all this time! The food is delicious, and they have the best gyro in Lowell. These guys are the real deal so dont miss out.

The food here is Very good. My faves are the falafel and lamb , i like to get a plate with all salad instead of salad/rice and everything extra spicy, I prefer the gyro, not spicy, but any combination you get is going to be good!.

Awesome middle eastern fresh halal food on a cart. Their gyro over rice is one of my favorite. Do be careful that their spicy sauce is potent stuff. I usually prefer to go than sitting out there in the open. Great prices too

I stopped by for lunch and when I mentioned to quality others, I was in charge of picking up dinner to go that same day. We went with gyros with kafta, excellent choice. Taste was spot on, will be returning soon!

This place by far exceeds in quality and quantity from its competitors within the University area. Reminder: if u buy a Falafel over rice here, you are very much prone to return again for another one!!!!
