A cute little restaurant featuring service from the nicest people youll ever encounter. We ordered the $43.00 seafood dish which had lots of tofu, bony fish and a heaping helping of octopus. The large noodles within were spectacular, disappointing though, were the scallops that were not quite the diameter of a dime and shrimp about the diameter of a nickel. Basically, it was rubber inner tube, tofu, bony fish and a desperate search for minuscule scallops and shrimp. As the other reviews have articulated, Im sure this is a great restaurant, just be sure to avoid ordering the $43.00 seafood fiasco.

The name of this place may not be very attractive, its food is however fantastic. Heard this restaurant from my friend and drove one hour from Portsmouth for dinner there. It was a small place but owner was very nice (an Korean immigrants maybe from 90s). We ordered the Budae Jjigae to share and bibimap for each of us, and a fish cake with kimchi for start. I would say the bibimap is the best Ive ever had in US, and the taste of Budae Jjigae is very impressive. Will definitely visit again.

Ive been to the Garden House a few times. I agree with what everyone else says. The outside isnt much, but the inside is very nicely done. The food is excellent. The staff are very nice. If youre looking for great Asian food (Korean in particular), youll love the Garden House!!!

Very authentic Korean restaurant! Walked in to lots of Korean guys drinking and speaking loudly in Korean! Food was amazing and had the spice level that we remember in Korea. There was a little wait for food but they gave us extra side dishes to apologize. Would highly recommend.

Authentic Korean food with very friendly service and delicious kimchi with the meal. Affordable lunch menu and plenty of parking make this one of my favorite Korean restaurants. Plus, their tea is very good, too!

Only been once (so far). The food is good, prices reasonable. I cant say its the best Korean food Ive ever had, but its great to find Korean food in Lawrence at all. Worth a repeat visit.

They made a plate for me that was not on the menu, seafood japchae, my favorite Korean dish, excellent, could have been spicier, but they didnt know me. Next time Ill ask for a bit spicier.

Delicious & Authentic Korean food! Okay interior but clean and foods are excellent!! The owner and staffs are very nice as well. Some Fridays have to wait for table, so go early.

Worst Korean restaurant I have ever been to. I ordered stir fried kimchi and pork, and it tastes like they put all the leftover together and made a dish. Its pretty disgusting.
