After having heard rave reviews we decided on Friday to try Mr. Chicken! I was able to find street parking with ease on the side street next to their building. Walking in I was pleasantly surprised to see Portuguese foods and items for sale on their shelves and lots of hot Portuguese food in the cases. No other customers were in the store when I came in. One of the women working behind the counter asked what I wanted. I knew my husband wanted chicken Mozambique with fries and rice but no menu was listed. I asked if they had shredded chicken and got an attitude like I should know what I wanted. I told the woman it was my first time. I finally asked for a menu since that made life easier than trying to guess what was available. I was told it would be a fifteen minute wait and it was. In the meantime while waiting the place was buzzing, lots of people in and out, most only speaking Portuguese. When my food was done, I was called over and was able to pay with ease. But again service was all but friendly. The food was HOT! It took about ten minutes to get home and food was still super HOT. That was awesome, usually food cools right down. I ended up just ordering two chicken Mozambique with fries and rice, it came to just under $20. But there was a lot of food. My husband and I each had enough for at least one other meal! 4 stars was for the amazing food. Lost points with not friendly service.

Really Cool place. You walk in and youre smacked with the potent smell of Portuguese food, and the Chourico and other Portuguese staples you see everywhere follows suit. They always have at least 3 or 4 entrees to choose from, with two sides, coming out to around $9-10, which is a bargain and a half. The chicken is awesome and the other delicacies they offer are equally pleasing. Dont let the place fool you, its a true diamond in the rough.

The food is always plentiful.. You can get a whole barbecued chicken with fries and rice until you explode - literally.. Unfortunately this is not an eat-in restaurant, make sure you have a close by place to eat the food at! Other than that I usually get the Barbecued Chicken or the Ribs.

Mr.Chicken now has a better selection of portuguesse meals beyond the chicken dinner. Reasonably priced with large portions , well worth the trip for take-out , especially since its quick and prepared- no wait time from when you order..

If your in Fall River and enjoy great Portuguese food, stop by Mister Chicken! They have absolutely amazing food and service. Everything is made fresh, you can really taste the difference.

I was introduced to Mr. Chicken by a friend who is a Portuguese native. This is authentic roasted chicken, with just the perfect blend of seasonings. Moist. Yummy! The ribs were only so-so.
