I love French Memories for their bread and baked goods but made the mistake of purchasing their lasagna for a family dinner. I was so embarrassed to serve it. They were made with no-cook pasta sheets, very little meat and cheese and mostly tomato paste. Probably the worst lasagna Ive ever had... They were very expensive too! Stick to the French items.

10/10. I am only here for the French items so I cannot refute what that other reviewer said about bad lasagna. However, what I have eaten has been fantastic. Jean-Jacques is an amazing baker with a cool handlebar mustache. The staff is friendly and helpful. I stop and get food here at every opportunity.

They have the best scones I have had on the South Shore. the croissants and breads are also wonderful as are the deserts. the dark secret is that they do not make the scones on site, but they are still the best and sell out quickly.

Nice pastries and coffee. However, some healthier options would be attractive. Also, it is peculiar for a cafe not to have a bathroom. The staff suggests going to the inn across the street.
