Im surprised that it took us three years in the area before we found this restaurant in Chicopee. Ironic since we love indian food, and this is only 20 minutes away and easy to reach. Larger than most Indian restaurants weve visited, the dining area and bar (yes!) are stylish and tasteful. Menu is much more extensive that I would expect in an Indian restaurant (including full bar choices). As my birthday dinner, we ordered more than usual, and everything was delicious. Our selection of kabob appetizers included various meats; I wish we had tried the samosas and other starters, too. The poori was unusually large and a golden brown, and the garlic naan was also delicious. As I usually do on a first visit, I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, and we had Lamb Rogan Josh...a change for us. Im not usually fond of lamb, but we agreed that the seasoning was excellent, and my Chicken Tikka Masala was the best I"ve had in a very long time.. This particular masala was rich and complex. In hindsight, we should probably have ordered at least one really different entrée. The Rogan Josh and Tikka Masala were quite similar. There are other choices that would have provided more of a contrast. Wait staff was attentive and gracious, and made appropriate apologies when a beverage order was overlooked. We very much enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Worst dining experience Ive ever had!!! Dont eat here if you want clean food good service! The waiter wearing a black shirt was sooooo rude and they kept touching the insides of the food bowls with their fingers when they gave us our food. Place is filthy and dirty. I also found 2 black hairs in my chicken curry!! Then to make my dinner even worse, we asked for take home boxes for 5 big bowls of curry that we barely touched. The waiter then gave us tiny, plastic containers that would fit a small a small piece of bread, if that! When I asked for a bigger container, the rude waiter laughed and said that every Indian restaurant gives containers like this. I told him thats not true, Ive eaten at many Indian restaurants, and they always give proper to go boxes, especially for curry, so it wont leak out. The waiter continued to raise his voice, being augmentative. There was also a drunk homeless man who sat at the bar making everyone sitting around very uncomfortable, belligerent, and it was very annoying as he changes the tv channel and watches random music videos, making it so loud.

I have only been to the lunch buffet and got to-go once. The lunch buffet is always changing and the variety is awesome. The food is made in smaller batches so it doesnt sit in a chafing dish for hours. I used to go to an Indian restaurant in West Springfield quite a bit but the selections never changed, it always had the same 5 or 6 items. They always have a dessert with the buffet too. The value for money is unbeatable. Its a couple dollars more on the weekend but they add two more tables to the buffet with even greater choices. I am no expert on Indian food but I know what I like and I like Priyas food. I also notice that theres always a lot of Asian customers whenever I go there. If Im going to a Chinese restaurant I want to see Chinese people eating there, Greek restaurant, Greek patrons etc. If you like Indian food youve got to give the lunch buffet a try, worst case scenario, youre out $10.00 or so.

We stopped by last Friday. Nice Clean Restaurant. Huge. They can easily accommodate over 100 people. Very polite waiters. I ordered "Dosa", which is a South Indian Dish. My family ordered Chicken Tikka. They did not make the Dosa the way I wanted. I asked for Paper Dosa, which is crunchy. They brought me a regular soggy dosa. Potatoes, chutney were good - not excellent. But Sambar was awful. The Chef probably emptied out the entire salt container. The chicken Tikka is excellent. Better than local Indian Restaurant here. We will definitely go back there. True Indian polite people - not the the other guy on West Springfield.

My husband and I were here this weekend. We got there before dinner rush, so we were seated right away. We shared the vegetarian appetizer sampler, the mixed grill, and the lamb rogan josh. Everything was tender, the spice blends were complex and delicious. Also, the rosemary garlic naan. Get that. Get extra. Get more to take home. Seriously. The staff are a bit soft-spoken, so we did have to ask for some information to be repeated. FYI: the spice blends they use have a cumulative heat effect. Very tasty, and nothing we ordered was overtly hot,but after a little while we both found ourselves fanning our faces.

Been on the hunt for a good Indian restaurant in western Mass for a couple of years now, and I think we found our place. Atmosphere is nice, as is the wait staff (if a bit slow). Food was quite good - we both got vegetarian curries. Prices were a bit high for the amount of food that we ordered, and our waiter seemed shocked that we didnt order more food than we did. Perhaps we would if the prices were a bit more reflective of the amount of food that you get. They offer a buffet during lunch hours that will likely make more financial sense.

Yesterday night I brought my 6 year old and 6 month old in the restaurant with me. Ive been working so much I had no groceries at home and just picked up my children from the babysitter after a 12 hour day, so I really wanted to eat out.and be waited on for a night. After a little bit my 6 month old had enough and was acting up. The staff was very friendly and helpful getting my food out and packed up. On top of it the food was DELICIOUS. I will be back soon, even if its ordering take out :)

Great southern Indian food with excellent service. The waitstaff was really attentive the whole time we were there. Ambiance is casual. They offer a buffet dinner on Wednesday nights with a good selection. Watch out for the Vindaloo- its freaking hot. The location is strange as its connected to the hotel. All in all, 5 stars. Would recommend you try it at least once if you enjoy Indian. Id say its one of the best options in the Western Mass area.

This is by far the best Indian food I have eaten outside of India. Each dish feels home cooked and freshly prepared. The flavors are subtle yet complete. The spice of the food is perfect! Prices are reasonable to extremely generous. The portions are sizeable and perfect for sharing. Staff is courtious and unobtrusive. Hope you come to enjoy! This is the first review I have ever been inspired to write; the food was that good.

Lunch buffet, $10.69. Not bad considering a burrito and soda at place next door will cost you nearly the same. Great selection of entrees including a few I had never tried before. Carrot halwa for dessert was incredible. Plus fresh hot naan brought to the table. Manager said the weekend buffet is twice the size with special dishes.

Way better than the west springfield Indian Restaurant. Delicious food, great price, very friendly. We loved their buffet. I dont eat too much salt, I asked the waiter and our food came with perfect. When I saw kids are eating here, we knew this place must be good. We are going back here atleast once a month.
