theres no reason KFC should exist after trying popeyes. they really need to expand to central MA and all over NE. Passing through the area, i was able to try the "spicy" version of their fried chicken and a side of mashed potatoes with cajun gravy and a buttered biscuit. The chicken was really high quality; juicy and meaty with a good batter and a great spice that seemed to come from a dry rub before they batter the chicken and deep fry it. The potatos where average but what really sold it was the cajun gravy. Im not huge on peppers or cajun flavor but this was really somethin different and delicious. Its a shame the side was about 3/4 the size of how i would have liked it. Also the biscuit was very tasty but it did taste like theyre brushed pretty generously with butter before being served to you. I cant eat KFC anymore I dont think, i just cant justify it after having popeyes. Its that good.

Better than KFC. For one thing, I used to love KFC as a kid. About 10 years ago Id start getting stomach aches every time I ate at any KFC. Once a year Id try again, nope, stomach aches. I assumed I just couldnt eat fried chicken anymore. I love fried chicken. Who doesnt? So this year, Im on the couch, watching Adam Sandler in "Little Nicky," and I get to the "Popeyes Chicken" scene. Then I realize, theres one right near me! (I just moved to here from Easthampton). Id never had Popeyes. It was about time to try again and see if I could have fried chicken. I got the 3 piece, all dark meat, one spicy two mild, mashed and an extra side of cole slaw. It tasted great. And then I waited. And waited. And waited. And...I felt fine. Ive been back a few more times. Still fine after every time. Tried KFC once more.. Nope! So, if KFC just disagrees with you, try Popeyes. Its effing awesome.

Popeyes is one of my husbands favorite fast food restaurants. BUT in Chicopee, this place SUCKED!!! Please, fire all the employees there! We ordered 2 naked chicken wraps. Guess how long they were cooking them? 15 MINUTES!!!! The girl who was serving drive-thru, was working with the most energy, cooks tried to be fast too, there was this one cashier, she was super slow, and she tried to accommodate her relative who came in with 4 kids. She was bringing them food out on the table like a waitress, while customers were in line waiting to order food, or waiting for food like myself. Finally, my poor wraps were cooked (i suspect they forgot about me), and i paid about $6 for TINY wraps with a drink!!! Do not order their wraps! the dough was cold, and it was so small! I shouldve gone to Taco Bell. I was never so upset over my fast food...should i correct myself, it was not fast at all!

None of what we wanted was either on the menu any more or ready. Waited 10 minutes for enough to chicken to be ready for our oder. Listened to other orders and the same was had with other people. Food not ready and had to wait for it.Also place was so dirty. Main seating counter was all trash straw wrappers food debris. Bathrooms were disgusting, toilet paper everywhere on the floor. Employees talking to certain people in Spanish which were getting drinks that I saw no money exchanged for.Absolutely disgusting establishment. Employees are still talking in Spanish to each other as I sit here writing this to the customer that paid no money and now walked out with a bag of food. Aghhh!!!!! To think I drove a good distance to this place.

Worst Service...All i asked was 11 piece woth 6 legs in it...They said they have it but asked me to wait for 15 mins as they need them for Drive Thru people...common...please treat people equally...when i went back after 15 mins, they asked me to wait for another 12 mins...I really hate this place...This is the longest i have waited in any popeyes...definetely not coming back

Great fried chicken - our favorite! And unlike some other reviewers, I have never had a problem with customer service here. The folks behind the counter work hard to get the orders out and this Popeyes is a busy location. A little patience and understanding goes a long way.

Its a good thing there arent any other locations near by, I would travel away to get the food. Food is delicious but the staff is horrible. Food is never a available. I was actually told, after I ordered and was at the window the .macaroni and cheese is frozen.

Horribly mismanaged. Took almost an hour to get food even though there was nobody else in the place. Then when they did make food it took forever for them to put it in a bag and hand it to us. Like a really long time. A really really long time.

Love this chicken! At times weve had to wait a little longer because the chicken was being freshly prepared but I have yet to visit here and not be happy with my meal. I think the value of what you get for what you pay cannot be beat.

I finally eate their food a couple of days ago. If you like really spicy food than go for it. Personally, I think KFC wins hands down. So if its about the flavor, Im with KFC all the way. I gave it three stars and Im being generous.

No proper management, lost customers due to slow customer service. People were going inside who were waiting in drive through 20 min for food. People who walked in from drive through got served before People who were waiting.

Did read the not so great reviews and decided to hit these guys for lunch as we mostly have KFC in CT. Great customer service. Awesome food. What else can I say? Not going to KFC anytime soon. Yep... that good. ;)

Had to asked for ketchup, then they were covered in grime or sticky oil. Only gave out 1 napkin and 1 sauce for a 3 pc tenders combo meal. I dont recommend nor will be back! Terrible.
