This may just be one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. After seeing all the hype this place had prior to opening day, me and my sister were excited to finally try it out. We sat at the bar and didnt get to order our drinks for 20 minutes because our bartender was too busy flirting with the men who were also sitting there. We decided to order our drinks and food at the same time because we werent too sure when she would actually come back. Now the restaurant was not even full, I would say three families were there, a few couples and like five people sitting at the bar minus me and my sister. So why did it take almost 45 minutes to get a well done burger wrapped in lettuce? And my sister an extra 10 minutes to get the onion ring that was supposed to be on top of her sandwhich? Not to mention we had a great view of the filthy kitchen with boxes toppled over, and wet paper on the floor that the staff just ignored and walked over. I actually took a few pictures of this just for my records. The kitchen resembled more of a bathroom than a place where gourmet meals should be created. This was my very first experience at a Red Robin, and it was absolutely the worst. I will never go back there again.

The food was good as always...I love the burgers at red Robin. The only reason--and its a big one--that I dont give this 5 stars is the horrible service. I had a long day of traveling so I ordered a couple burgers to go so I wouldnt be that guy coming in late at closing time. They ran out of an ingredient for the burger I was going to order so I went with the spicy jalapeno one. The girl on the phone seemed to be rushing me through my order. My wife and I go to pick it up and no one greeted us. We looked around until we found someone. They have no clear signage as to where someone can pick up take-out. We got home only to find that my burger had this gross, brown, slimy jalapeno on top of the bun and my side salad had a few pieces of lettuce. The burger definitely wasnt what I ordered and Ive come to suspect that they put the gross jalapeno on top as a way to get back...even though they had more than half an hour before closing by the time I picked up my burger. The servers were all about closing up and leaving than catering to people. I dont normally attach pictures to my reviews, but this "jalapeno" warrants one to show how bad this service was.

Terrible service. The hosts was sitting down and did not greet us...we had to greet them first and ask to be seated. She never got up. The waiters were hanging with each other and eating...never checked in on us after it took an hour to finally get our food. We had to keep calling them over if we needed service. It was close to closing time but it seemed they already checked out. The place was mostly empty on a Saturday night. I love Red Robin but the staff is gonna run this restaurant to the ground. South Shore Mall is a great location with lots of foot traffic but many people I know avoid RR because of the bad staff. Leadership should be embarrassed from all the comments and working hard to change its perception, such an easy fix. They should all be trained at the Patriots Place location to learn what excellent customer service looks like...which is where I will be going from now on.

Had a great meal, great price, great service! The hostess who seated us could have been a little friendlier, but thats about the only complaint I could possibly make and even then, its hardly even worth mentioning! The waitress was friendly and attentive, brought us our food quickly, and stopped by several times to see if we needed anything and that everything was OK. The food was really good, too.We look forward to eating here again. One thing that might partly explain the difference between the great service we got and the lousy service other reviewers have described is that we arrived for lunch soon after theyd opened and the restaurant was still fairly empty.

As an employee here, I would like to say that the food is pretty good (speaking as a person who usually doesnt eat burgers). I would like to apologize to everyone that had to wait awhile for the food. We are still relatively new at this location and are still working out the kinks. Please continue to come in and enjoy the bottomless fries and root beer floats. I really hope that those who have had bad experiences come back and give us another try because we really want you to leave with a great experience. This place is a nightmare for your dining experience! Our food came super late (30-40 minutes after placing the order) with no apologies from the waitress. Finally when the food came to our table, the order was wrong....then came the wait of another 20 minutes to get the order right. We waited and waited only to hear from the waitress..."we are going to take off the item that we got wrong and your order is coming, hmm... after couple of minutes.." again with no apology or courtesy.....the Manager apologized in the end just for the sake of it....didnt mean anything. I am never going back to this useless place ever again!

The root beer floats and atmosphere are great, but the service has been abysmal and the burgers are rather unimpressive. Both times Ive gone there our servers have been awful. The first time, our server wouldnt stop reminding us to give him a tip so he could "feed his kids". The next time there was this older lady. She made an effort to be nice and sociable, but she really seemed out there; she went on long tangents about things nobody knew about, took forever getting us our food, and dropped a bunch of plates. Not a fun experience.

Went to this place a lot, I went there recently for lunch and the waitress we got was clearly racist. She treated us all differently compared to the white families that were right next to us, she was rude, and treated us like we were going to rob the place when we just wanted a nice couples lunch. She said she would get the manager and when the manager didnt come we told her we didnt want our food and left. I have never, I repeat NEVER, have had this type of disrespectful service in my life!

The food was good. The prices were OK. Some of the bar staff not so much. They were more interested in talking to their fellow employees than taking care of the customer. Food took a long time to get to us almost an hour. The manager ended up taking the appetizers we ordered off the bill as compensation for the extremely long wait. Dont know if I will go back as this is the 2nd time bar staff has been Iike this to the customers...And Ive only been there twice

Last night was my first time dont order a drink they do not put alcohol in the drink i sent it back for a Heineken the bottles are half the size of a standard and cost the price of a six pack the burger was over cooked after the waiter asked how i would like it only to find out he isnt supposed to ask that question the manager offered me another burger to go but i choose never to go back Red Robin you might as well fly the coop Mass dont need you
