Its a tiny restaurant, much of it taken up by the kitchen. Heres what I ordered: Cubano (Seasoned pulled pork, ham, swiss, fresh dill pickles, mojo mustard on baguette pressed "Havana" style, house dressing for dipping) - Not sure what "Havana" style is, but it was decent. The meat was a little on the dry side and the baguette was uneven. There were some parts a lot of bread vs not enough bread. Definitely not as flavorful as I had hoped. The dipping sauce didnt do much for me but it had a nice tang. Fries - Fresh cut shoestrings served in an individual deep fry basket. Adorable presentation. Theyre not crispy nor soggy, more in between. I usually prefer them that way but I generally dont discriminate. Mojito (Lime juice, cane sugar, mint leaves) - Non-alcoholic obviously but it was fantastic! Perfect balance of flavors and sweetness. I wish they offered a smaller size. Overall, I thought it was decent. I was more disappointed with the sandwich especially since it cost me $10. It was a good size as I was only able to eat half. Ill have to try the other sandwiches.

Ive been here twice for lunch and Id give it a solid C. Sandwiches while good are on the expensive side, the tables are a little squished together and overall Ive had better for less $$. If you get a groupon deal or something, Id definitely bump the starts up to 4, but other than that, not crazy good. The Chicken Katsu: the sandwich was great, but it was a calorie bomb and a half--giant (fluffy and good-Portuguese?) bread--(I had a bite with the bread then decided it wasnt worth it)--sweet potato fries (I thought it would be roasted for some reason, but 6 and one half a dozen the other), and tempura chicken (really delicate and good, but... fried...). I got a Brie sandwich on a different day and it was tasty! Melted and gooey, on the small side, but fine. I tried the house made lemonade and it was on the sweet side, but it was good!

Meh. I had the Cubano with fries and tried one of their cookie sandwich things. The cookie thing was good but I dont think Id ever buy one again. Not for that price. The fries were ok but you had to put something on them. They were really bland and unable to stand on their own. The size of the sandwich was, indeed, small. They cut it in half and that made each half look comically small. The sandwich was good but not mind-blowing like some have indicated. Id eat it again if I ever went back but with so many other options, I dont see why Id bother. Sandwich, fries, bottled water and cookie sandwich=$14.50. Yeah, no.

Very Good Restaurant, have seen great improvement in staff and food quality. I believe most of the other reviews are a bit bias. If you are looking for a quality sandwich and you are hungry, you come here. The portioning is perfect - I give credit to the timely service keep in mind this is a small restaurant and everything is done by hand. If youre looking for fast service go to a fast food restaurant. You can easily see your food being prepared here so I do not understand why "slow service" is an issue when you are getting food prepared on demand.

Really good chicken salad sandwich (the Union Club) and I like their French fries, as well. The service is pretty crummy, though. I always check my order to be sure its correct before I leave the restaurant. I dont know how many times its been incorrect - no extra dipping sauce, no side order, etc. I keep returning, because I work nearby and I freaking love that sandwich!

Second time here, they do nice sandwiches, good prices, interesting combinations. I had The Rude Boy, which is secret menu item with pastrami, fried egg, avocado, torched cheddar and chipotle aioli on a brioche. Some heat, and cooled off with the avocado. Not messy at all either. Very polite staff, that is a bonus.

Subs here have good flavor. Lots of different options on their menu. I just find that the subs are a little small for me to go back. If I had to eat there for any reason I would not mind, but with so many sandwich options out there its definately way down on the list of places to go.

Exciting sandwich combinations and great summer beverage options but you do pay for the Newbury location. Would absolutely recommend the chicken katsu sandwich and they have done of the best sweet potato fries in the area

Great food and all fresh made. So well put together I thought it was a chain! Owner is super friendly and mentioned the recipes are all made in house and he was happy to customize. Pro tip: they have a secret menu.

Great selection, friendly service, and quick. I have only been in the mornings during the work week and have ordered off the breakfast menu. Nice to sit outside and enjoy. Watch out for those thieving birds!

Food was cold and mediocre. They forgot to send my complete order! They said they couldnt do anything because no manager was onsite. How about just send me the remainder of my order? Never again.

The service is slow and the food is not sanitary. I watched the gentleman making my sandwich put my piece of chicken on a dirty wet rag and then put it back on my sandwich. NOT OKAY.

The food is pretty decent, but they changed the menu and sneakily increased the prices by bundling in chips and a pickle with their sandwiches for a $4 increase in price.

Lobster rolls very overpriced for what you get. It was very full of filler. Was more like a celery roll. Will never waste my money there again.# worst lobster roll ever

Great sandwiches. Many options to choose from. I got the cuban and it was great! I think they might make their chips in house as well. Very casual dining.

Had a Cubano and it was so good with the dipping sauce. Wouldve loved a little bigger portion, but overall what I had was delicious and hit the spot.

Delicious sandwiches! Newbury needed a place where you can take a sandwich away and go sit somewhere outside. Ill definitely go back here again!

Another huge let down on Newbury St. Quality is mediocre at best. Hastily prepared. Very small portions. Overpriced. 1 star
