Ive been really disappointed lately. The sandwiches used to be delicious but the quality has gone down hill in the past couple of months. My favorite sandwich is the California, which is a pita wrap filled with greens and cheddar cheese. Today (and the past several visits), the pita wrap was old and crumbled in my hands. Due to the crumbling pita, the filling was measly and fell out of the sides of the wrap, despite the excess amount of pita. It used to be packed with greens but now its mostly pita. A $9 sandwich that is 75% old pita is hardly worth it. Kushco used to be part of our weekly takeout routine but the last 3-4x our sandwiches have been so disappointing that we rarely visit anymore. I really hope they step up their game because otherwise we wont be coming back.

this place has the BEST frozen yogurt you could imagine(seriously). their sandwiches are lovely, and their pizza is pretty darn good. its too bad about that falafel experience below, ive never had one there myself, but the sandwiches i have had are huge and delicious. my personal favorite is a BLT on foccacia, with light mayo... or no mayo as telling them light doesnt really do anything. there is a bit of a language barrier, that may be why. i think this place is a salem hidden gem. but i agree, its a good place to take out rather than eat in. Also, they will even deliver! it takes a bit to get it though... oh, and they are open till 11pm. super.

Im still looking for a good, cheap sandwich place here in Salem. Kushco isnt quite cheap, but it *is* good. I had the HS2 (grilled panini with smoked turkey, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, tomatoes, spring mix, pesto). It was tasty but didnt even come with a pickle! Then, I decided to try chocolate frozen yogurt with Milky Way and peanut butter mix-ins (beware if youre just going there for a yogurt, the credit card minimum is $5). It was a little pricey for what I got, and the seating area is tight, but I suppose thats par for the course in Salem. Ill be back to try some other things!

Im not a person that writes reviews that often, but Kushco Bistro definitely deserves to be top 5 in Salem. Their food is not only made out of fresh ingredients and effort but its a place where you can try different things without going wrong. The STAFF is simply amazing, you can perceive as soon as you walk through that door that they are customer-centric something you dont see that often. If you ever feel like going to Kuscho (you should!) try the BLT and one of their popular " Chicken and avocado" sandwich. Great job guys!

It was our first time here and the employees were very nice and informed us of the popular items to help us make a selective. My boyfriend had the grilled chicken panini and I had the chicken bacon avocado sandwich. Both were very delicious and so was the raspberry milkshake and fro-yo we had. We would definitely visit here again next time we are in the Boston area and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to eat here. You wont be disappointed!

Some of the most inventive, tasty sandwiches in Salem. Their frozen yogurt with a great array of mix-ins always hits the spot as well. Items are a bit pricey, but the portions are generous the food is of a higher caliber, so its always worth it. Friendly staff, great hours, only needs coffee to be perfect!
