In the mood for a creative cocktails? 83 Proof is your place! Upon walking in, I saw the bartender making a delicious fresh fruit cocktail concoction.When I asked him what it was, he said he had just created it on the fly.The bar has little frills. Its a narrow bar on the first floor and then the second floor has an intimate sitting area thats good for a small group or about 10-15 people. Everything about this bar is calm, cool and collected and if I lived in Boston, MA , it would definitely be on my rotation.

I love the Corner Pub. It is a corner stone to the identity of Boston. A true local bar with a very welcoming atmosphere. Great service, spectacular and friendly bartenders. And to be honest, some of the best bar food I have ever ate. No joke, everything is made from scratch. Ive had the steak and cheese egg rolls. The chili cheese tater tots are also a real comfort! The corner pub is a hidden gem (as published in the Lonely Planet) of an establishment. Where else for $20 can you get a Jameson 18, a basket of deliciously hot, crispy and fresh chicken wings and an order of their unique Steak and Cheese egg rolls? I cant wait until I go back to try another tasty treat and maybe Ill top it off with a scorpion bowl to boot!

I love this bar!!! Pam is #1. Like said before, steak and cheese egg rolls are to die for. Just came back from a Pub Burger for lunch. The flavor in the burger was consistent all the way through, veggies fresh and fries crispy. The smediums (popped collar muscle douches) never show up. Just a nice place to drink and eat with no drama or pretension.

Great pub to grab a drink after a long day at the office. Always has great prices and the staff is excellent. Highly recommend the pineapple rum they have behind the bar. Despite being a bit of a dive bar, the food is actually fairly decent and at a good price considering the location.

What used to be Weddgies a Boston tradition in dive bars was bought and slightly updated still retains some of its old character good place to meet for a drink. In the leather district which is becoming Chinatown east its history cant be changed by ownership

Awesome spot to hang out after work. The lady that usually works at the bar is great and super fun. However, the spot can use a cosemtic update and the food is ok, not great. The various types of egg rolls are a must try!

Great place. Cozy laid back atmosphere, good prices, and Pam is very welcoming. Never eaten there but food looks very tempting. EDIT: Finally ordered food and its delicious. Steak and cheese egg rolls are fantastic!

Surly bartender in the worst way. Despite whats supposed to be a 1:45 last call he tried to lock us out just after 1. If you want friendly inviting staff this isnt the place for you.

Fun Chinatown dive with interesting egg roll varieties, old semicircle booths, board games, and a juke. Suprisingly good beer selection and strong cocktails.
