Absolutely flawless brunch. The menu is small, but diverse, without getting too crazy with any sort of fusion dishes. My girlfriend and I split the following: Muesli: Delicious. Not too sweet muesli base with cooked cinnamon apples, figs, and I believe some pears. Topped with fresh strawberries and a very high quality low-fat yoghurt. French Toast: Phenomenal. Pullman loaf cooked PERFECTLY so that the outside is browned and the inside is set up like a custard. Topped with cooked cinnamon apples and spiced creme fraiche and light amber maple syrup on the side. Mushroom Omelette: Again, perfect. Eggs cooked perfectly and mushrooms not soggy. Served with french fries. One of those rare places that decides to cook a limited number of things, but cooks them flawlessly. All the above food cost $40 in total. GO THERE.

The Beacon Hill Bistros bar is by far one of my favorite neighborhood spots in Beacon Hill. Its small (maybe only 6 seats at the bar with a few surrounding tables?) so you gotta go pretty early/pretty late or feel comfortable standing around, but I promise you the amazing craft cocktails are worth it! The food here is yummy, although I cant specifically call out any stand-out dishes. One thing I HIGHLY suggest is forget Paramount for weekend brunch. Theres nothing that great about it. Skip the line, pay the same amount of money, and get waited on... go to Beacon Hill Bistro instead!

Went here for brunch for the first time. Very elegant and nice inside. I was a little confused by the cloth napkins--they were literally old dishtowels. The food was really good. I got the vanilla pancakes with caramelized bananas. Let me ask you: would you expect the bananas to be warm or cold? I was expecting warm...and they were ice cold. Wasnt worth complaining over because we never saw our server. The mimosa was ok--more tart than sweet, which was an interesting sensation for the taste buds. Otherwise, it was a good meal in a lovely neighborhood.

Location was ideal very close to Boston Commons Park. The rooms were fine, but city noise is loud at times. We stayed on a weekend and brunch was included, but you only had one choice otherwise you had to pay for it. The choice was eggs, meat, potatoes, and toast, a higher priced item, but you could not get a lower priced item like pancakes or French toast. This made absolutely no sense. I would probably look for a hotel in the area on my next visit.

Not a bad place if you dont mind a toilet that doesnt work and a promise from Darren that it will be repaired....to no avail. Tough to enjoy a stay when the toilet doesnt work!!!!! Thanks for nothing Darren. I understand that things happen......the way issues are resolved says everything about a hotel. While Darren completely ignored the issue, Hannah immediatley addressed our cocerns and took this rating from a one star to a four star.

The location and interior is unbelievable but the service and food is subpar. BHB is the type of place I want to love. Unbelievable location, french bistro feel, chic tiny bar but I find their food and service lacking. It takes forever to get service during brunch even when its not crowded. They get your order wrong and are not super accommodating with changes. The food is good but nothing spectacular. For these prices, I expect better.

.. it is not worth the effort! or the money! It was ziti in some tomato sauce with a faint hint of eggplant. Good, but I could make it at home. Overall everything was AVERAGE and the price was ABOVE AVERAGE. And the space is really too noisy to be comfortable. My friend who ordered off the regular menu made out a little better with a predictably decent steak frites. I would come back for a drink but not for a cosy dinner.

I was in Boston on business and had some free time so was wandering aimlessly around Beacon Hill - stopped in for lunch and was glad I did. Excellent service. I had the spinach and mushroom omelet with a side of goat cheese. The omelet was very good, and I was given enough goat cheese for a party of 6 - I was sad that I couldnt eat it all (or take it with me!!). I would recommend if you are in the area.

First time staying at this hotel. I found it for a great price on Expedia very modern hotel located in Korean.. this hotel is extremely clean and comfortable everything is new, parking is free and the staff is beyond friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel for single or couple stays it is a bit small but accommodating and the bathroom is well lit with a rainfall shower head.!

I love the location and the decore but we never met the server that we were asked to tip. My omelet was dry and contained nothing but mushrooms. The plate was stacked high with slices of day old bread with no butter or jam to be found. Given the plethora of options in its vicinity, I would not recommend choosing the BHB.

Great location. Wasnt the largest room, but quite quant. Rustic views of boston from the room, and the complementary breakfast on the patio is not to be missed. Staff was friendly, and attentive to our every need. Overall a great way to star off my vacation, would recomend it to frends and family.

The Bistro has small but pleasantly diverse menu, with food that does not disappoint. The service was friendly and efficient, never overbearing but always available when needed. Its location can make finding parking difficult, but it is only a short walk from the T. Definitely worth a visit.

First time visiting, and I came in for a business lunch. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly, prompt and not intrusive. The burger was cooked perfectly, it was the perfect size and very tasty. The house made pickles really added to it. Great menu selection. We will be back.

Drinks at a side table at the bar. Bartender wasnt very attentive to us, so we spent half of the time there trying to get his attention while he was chatting up another patron. Not really an inviting environment so Im not sure wed return--as hotel guests or bar/restaurant patrons.

Easy to get a large table for 7. Appetizers were great especially the meatballs. Beer selection was very limited but wine was good to great. Everyone enjoyed their meal and they were pretty tolerant of us being boisterous on spite of the high end feel to the place.

We had the Sunday brunch here and it was terrific! The french toast and pancakes were moist and so tasty you dont need syrup. My favorite was the bacon that tasted freshly smoked! It was a nice touch. Its also located in a cute area to wander around.

Had a lovely lunch alone at the bar, staff was so warm and made me feel welcome. Pork loin sandwich with broccoli rabe and mustard aioli was absolutely delish!!! Loose leaf tea with honey was amazing on this cold day. Definitely will be back.

We had brunch at the bistro, food was excellent! AND we were there with our 18 month old daughter, the staff was very accommodating to her, she was given crayons and a stuffed animal duck. Great experience all around!

Location was great but other than that I wouldnt stay here again. I heard everything from my surrounding neighbors and the WiFi wasnt that great. Bed was old and it needed new pillows too.
