I went for karaoke with friends from work. The place was full but not crowded. The service was quick, and reasonable priced. The sound system was very nice. Loud but not so bad you couldnt carry on a conversation. There was a man in the corner who stood silently holding a broom stick. This broom stick man didnt buy food or drinks. He didnt talk to anyone, he just stood with his broomstick waiting. When karaoke began he put his name on the list. He didnt rush to be first, he watched and he waited. When enough names where ahead of him, he chose his song, and again he waited. A few people drank and sang, but not broomstick man, he just stood silently waiting for his turn to take on a great hit from the 80s. His turn came, he stepped up to the screen. As he took the microphone,it was wireless,I realised why he had the broomstick, it was his microphone stand. He began singing toy soldiers by Martika, decent voice nothing fancy. He held that broomstick tight and belted out that second verse, his heart and soul was into it he was owning this song. Name third verse, and hes screaming hardcore style and going nuts about it. It was intense. Ive gone back twice, and there he stand broomstick in hand and waits. Its beautiful, highly recommended.

I always like coming here for a low-key dinner. Our last night out here was not the best experience. The food was just not good that night. Both of our meals were overcooked. Every other time its been fine, could have been an off night in the kitchen? It was quiet for a Saturday night, but the bar area was packed. Parking is always a bit tricky here.

I run a group home and my guys are in a limited budget. So when i discovered their happy hour, we had to check it out. Not only is their happy hour a GREAT deal, the food is really good, too! And the service we have gotten from Miranda has been not only welcoming but impeccable! Thank you, Newtowne Grille!

Bar atmosphere. Good food selection, though the offerings are fairly basic - like Buffalo chicken sandwich, burgers, fries including sweet potato fries. A couple of guys in our group love the Mac and cheese. Staff is friendly and the service is good. Food prepared well enough for the reasonable prices.

Some would call this place a dive bar, but I really liked it. The steak tips were marinated and cooked perfectly and the sweet potatoes fries were crispy and light. I would definitely go back and Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a casual sick bite

Went back for pizza the closest thing to North end pizza you will find in this area,that little red hair server Monica just keeps getting better she is there when you need her and she lets you enjoy your meal without interuption.

I wouldnt even give that place a star its all trash ,only punks go to the bars the food sucks there no parking and it took 25 minutes for nachos Id advise everyone to not spend a dollar here

We come here often, its 2 minutes from home. Their nachos are delicious, and their steak tips are even better! Weve had some issues with slow service, but they are always very nice about it.
