The food and drinks might be great, I wouldnt know. The online reservation system sucks and so does the bar manager. We tried to make a reservation online, but the system didnt seem to be working. We tried again and still wouldnt accept the reservation. We called to troubleshoot - the person who answered the phone was not helpful. Tried again a couple days later, but still nothing. Now, it may have been a browser issue of some sort on our end, but the next part of this story is unforgivable. Called again and the staff member who answered the phone took our name and assured us that they would take care of it. Showed up for our reservation (it is a long drive) to find that they did not take care of it. The bar manager was completely unapologetic and took zero responsibility. He argued with us for a while - placing the blame on us rather than his staff. The staff member on the phone also failed to mention that the restaurant does take phone reservations on the same day - a fact that could have changed this entire situation.

Without a doubt, the ONLY place north of downtown Boston where you can have an exceptional cocktail. And the Chinese food is great as well. You should get a reservation prior to going. The process is a bit clunky, you send an email and maybe a few hours later someone emails back on whether you have a reservation or not.

Definitely a hidden gem of the area. The cocktails are all fantastic. The food is also excellent and more varied than the standard American Chinese food.
