China River is still the #1 Chinese Restaurant in the Beverly area. Although its not much to look at, it maintains high quality food at a reasonable price. If China River had a lot better looking and more expensive real estate? It would probably have to either lower the quality of their food or raise their prices. Nobody in Beverly area wants that to happen. I tip my hat to China River whos the #1 choice of Chinese food for Beverly area residents. Keep up the good work China River! 5++ Stars Deserved Here

I ordered today and it was the worst chinese i ever ordered all the food was very cold and i got chicken and mushrooms the chicken was hard and if it wasnt hard it was under cooked chewy and gross my pork fried rice the pork inside tasted off.i could go on with issues with my order Now hours later i been puking i want to call for my money back badly ! I dont recommend at all!! Very disappointed

Delicious meals, big menu selection, and large portions! Always fast service, never more than a 15 minute wait for pickup! Ive been a customer for over 25 years and this is STILL the best chinese food on the North Shore. The dining room is not that pretty, but dont be fooled, this is a hidden gem!
