Great pizza, terrible service (really, the worst). The best experience for people who like to suffer having great food. Ive been here three times, I love the pizza and I probably have a masochistic disorder. For me is the best pizza in Boston, that is why I keep coming. The prices in beer and food are great. The problem are the servers. One time, they didnt want to give us a table because they were not clean, but no one did anything to clean them. We were waiting for ten minutes until someone felt bad for my pregnant wife waiting. Another time I asked the server "how are you?", and he said "very tired". After that, he was just having this depressive face all the time. When asking about beers, he just answered "I dont know, never tried it". We asked for some ketchup, we never got it. We asked for water, he never came back, I had to go by myself to get some at the bar. We accidentally spilled the half of the beer pint and nobody came, the carpet just absorbed all the beer. At some point we started feeling guilty of asking for things to the waiter. We thought is was a prank and we were waiting for the camera guy to show up. Despite this epic example of bad service, we decided that we will come back to have their great food and experience the service (when is that bad, because we believe there should be some good servers) as an anthropological exercise. Totally recommended (yes, the for the pizza) but please come before 6:00pm when probably the servers have a reason to live.

Great pizza. Good beer selection. Lousy service (lost two stars) This is an edit of my review reflecting a decline in service at this store. In each of my past four or five visits to this store Ive had service problems. Glacially slow service. Forgetting aspects of orders. That kind of thing. This culminated in my most recent visit -- 30 minutes wait plus to get a beer. Actually, thats inaccurate, no beer, water, bread, salad or other appetizer appeared. The server didnt know what seasonal/speciality beers were on tap. It ended with my part deciding to cancel our order and leave. It will be a very long time before I give this restaurant another chance, if ever. Honestly, this breaks my heart since I think their pizza really is fantastic. The rest of the original review follows. The pizza is outstanding -- possibly the best in the Boston area or at least a contender. This location has limited parking in front, but theres plenty in an overflow lot. Its also eminently bikeable, though I dont know if theres a rack for bikes. Theres a large room that they will reserve for parties. Ive had a couple birthday parties there and it was a very good experience. There are too many TVs in the store, but if theres a game on that you care about you will be able to watch it. Service is generally good/competent.

Not that I can eat the majority of the food anymore, but when I was still able to, their dough was amazing. They put rosemary into it, so it has more taste to it than a traditional calzone or pizza crust. Their Boston wedge salad is tasty, and isnt a wedge. Its an entire bowl filed with well-paired ingredients, which by the way, works best with the default dressing of blue cheese. Its in my top 10 of salads as a meal. I have gotten a side order of meatballs in marinara, and was dissapointed. The sauce was watery, and the meatballs had an odd aftertaste to them. I assume that would be the same if you ordered pasta, The tap choices are very limited, and the only cider they have is Angry Orchard, bottled. The red wines they have are good, and if you enjoy sampling different wines, the flight is more than worth it. Ive tried their sangria and its okay, but not worth what they charge for it. As far as the service goes, most of the time its alright but not stand-out, and there have been a few times where it was very poor. One time it took over 45 minutes to get the check, and it was hard to hunt someone down to get it. They do take out, and overall I would say its better to do take out from then as opposed to eating in unless you are in no rush. They have 2 small parking lots, which makes it a rarity in Allston.

This was definitely a great upgrade from the previous establishment. The entire inside has been done over and they even have a great bar area separate from the dining area that is perfect for watching football on Saturdays and Sundays. When we were there on Sunday they had every NFL game. Additionally, it is the only bar/restaurant in the area that I know of with parking. As far as pizza goes, they have a ton of options with nothing but the best quality ingredients. We got the Giambiatta & The Prosciutto with Spinach pizzas which mixed meat and veggies perfectly. Their beer and wine selections are also pretty broad with the latest pumpkin and Octoberfest beers on tap while I was there. The only downside is the menu is a little misleading as we thought it said it was $16.99 for a large pizza when that is actually for just a cheese pizza. They need to be a little more forthright with the cost as each pizza ended up being almost $21.

Reginas Pizzeria in Allston (353 Cambridge Street) is one of the best places to grab pizza in Boston. Easily the #1 spot in Allston. Its easily accessible from the Mass Pike I-90, Storrow drive, and the restaurant has plenty of Parking in 2 lots which is unheard of in Allston. I often come here after work due to the parking option. The food is great. Its not just pizza. Its Italian American fare - pasta, calamari, etc. The have an incredible bar with ICE cold draft beer - pitchers, pints, tall boys, whatever you wish all for affordable prices. On price, Reginas cant be beat. Cant be beat because the service, atmosphere, and price combined make it the best value in the area. The service is great from the front desk staff, to the servers, to the management. The restaurant was recently renovated giving a lot more space and better seating. Overall, Reginas in Allston is the best pizza place!

Ive had one of their pizzas which was excellent! I have also tried their meatballs and sausages in marinara sauce. These were also great! The first time we went, the bread was excellent as well- warm, soft, slightly doughy. Mmmm! The second time we went, however, the bread was stale and flaky. Sometimes a good, crunchy stale bread works but this was not at all pleasant. Both times, the service was lackluster. We felt more like a nuisance than welcomed guests. This could have been because we visited during the off-hours, late afternoon in the lull between dinner rushes. If the food quality had been more consistent and the wait staff more engaging, I would have given it 4 stars.

we went on a Sunday to have dinner at 10pm. Once we got there no server came to the table for about 10-15 minutes so we decided to put a to go order. I wanted pasta but it ended up that they dont serve pasta after 10 only pizza and they are open until 12am. Wtvr! So we placed a pizza to go. We waited about 30 -35 minutes. The service was very desapointing and disorganized. How can you be seated and no server comes to your table. The place is nice that is true but no interest of serving the people fast , happy and in a good manner. The pizza was tasty but not amazing for coming back. If you dont have more options go there otherwise at night on a Sunday I wouldnt recommend it.
