My favorite item there was the Avocado Cobb Salad, minus the avocado. Theyve taken it off the menu, and theres a garden salad offered instead. If you want cheese on it, though, you have to ask. And it comes with a kind of dressing I dont like so theres another thing to remember to change. Id rate the place higher if it was easier to order what I want. The baguette can be pretty hard, too, which makes me wonder how fresh it is. Overall, its a decent, well maintained place to eat.

Panera has always been my go to spot for a good bagel, sandwich, or freshly baked bread. This place makes new bread every morning so you know the quality will be top notch. The lemonade here is really good and compliments whatever meal you decide to get. The smoothies are also very refreshing on a hot day. If you manage to stop by in the morning make sure you get one of their bagels because youll keep coming back once youve tried one.

Eldersburg really needs more independent cafes and fewer chains. Panera is okay for what it is, but I hadnt been in a year or two and now none of the names of things describe them well and it all seems quite pricey for a mass-marketed sandwich. Its also a weird shopping center with arbitrary one-ways and often has cones or fencing for no clear reason.

Panera Bread is a shell of what they once were. I used to love Panera. But over the years profitability and mass appeal has taken them away from their core. It actually upsets me to give Panera a rating this low.

Pretty good food, you have an opportunity to order something healthy, and the price is just a couple bucks more than a burger. This panera is particularly well run, with a friendly staff.
