I have been to this location twice, once for lunch and once to purchase bakery items. Both times I ordered online. Both times my order was incorrect. When I ordered lunch, my order came without avocado (which costs extra). Needless to say I was irritated, but I just chalked it up to being an honest mistake. The second time when I purchased bakery goods, I placed the order in advance and when I got to the location (and after making me wait) they informed me that the items I ordered were out of stock and that I must have ordered them too late. When I informed them that I had placed the order the night before (to ensure that the items I wanted would be in stock) they were rude and acted as though it was my fault that they were out of the items I ordered. When I asked for a partial refund they instead refunded the entire transaction and asked me to repay for the items I wanted. This is without a doubt the worst Panera location I have been to, and as someone who loves Panera, it pains me to say I will NOT be using this location again.

Poor customer service... The staff are disinterested and impolite. I am a long time customer at Panera bread at this location and others . However after my experience yesterday 7/12/16 I decided not to set my foot at panera bread again. Experience- I found hair in my sandwich and I returned the food back and told (very quietly) to one staff that I found hair . Then he called ( I assume it was the manager) who came and with a very cold approach gave me my refund and go back to his work without even saying sorry..No apology for the inconvenience ( Not to mention the disgust) I went thru when I found the hair in my food.

For over a year, I visit Panera when getting off my weekly shift at the local fire department. The excellent food and friendly service has attracted a loyal following to such an extent that I can count on seeing many of the same faces there every time I visit. In addition to offering an excellent selection of foods, both the Panera in Rockville and the one off of Shady Grove Road are excellent community partners supporting the police, fire departments, and many local nonprofits.

This has to be one of the WORST Panera breads I have been to. Service was horrible. It seems the whole place was being run by high school kids. The young women who was making and calling out orders was yelling the wrong order numbers the whole time. She had to be corrected by a guest who thought his food was not ready or his number was not being called . All the while his food with sitting at the counter getting cold .

The food is always great, no matter to which Panera I go to. BUT this Panera employees behind the counters are very rude. They not only treated me but customers ahead of me very rudely. Staff in a hurry when taking the orders but as soon as we move to go pic our food they just stand behind counter and talk. Like why rush me? So you can get on your phone and check Facebook? Get real.

This panera bread is clean and the food is great of course, but the place is always PACKED and I have never seen the same people behind the counter twice - and the constant turnover leads to inconsistent service. We love the brand and go there several times a week, but this location is really hard to get to off Rockville Pike and has serious management issues.

Not all Paneras are created equal. I love the Chicken Quinoa Broth Bowl but this location disappointed. Bowl was only half full of mostly broth. Chicken was normal portion but the Kale and Quinoa was maybe a tablespooon each. When I picked it up I had to ask for the lemon. I was told it was underneath which it wasnt.

My fiancée tried their new southwest chicken tortilla soup and it was a bit spicy for her. I asked Daniel, one of their team members if it was possible to swap it for another soup. Jermaine and Tyler, the managers, gladly exchanged it for her and surpassed our expectations on customer service.

This afternoon I walked in and got myself some pastries and the cashier Alex I believe was so sweet and kind to me after the "manager" was very disrespectful . Honestly appreciated how the coworker was so kind with me after the manager was very disrespectful overall great pastries !

Have ordered for bagel, I took the bag given without checking if bagel is in there. When I check the bag to have the bagel youat home, I find a fork, napkins and butter in it but not bagel. Was quite surprised, not sure if it was forgotten to keep in the bag or I misplaced it.

Worst panera ever! I love it when a company that prides themselves on quality bread, and then they run out of the best kind as well as whole wheat baguettes. Then, there was a huge black hair in my girlfriends salad. Overall awful experience, will not be coming back.

It is more like an interview house. Crowded often and most of the seats are reserved or occupied for interviews. The environment is great, maybe that is why so many conduct interviews there. The customer service is good and things are good.

Absolutely RUDE staff. Kenneth completely ignored me when I informed him their coffee pots were empty. Extremely rude and inconsiderate staff. I will never visit this site again due to how rude the employees were.
